My dad is so back and forth on what he wants to do. As of right now, he wants to fix it, but it hasn't been his top priority. I'm sure it will probably end up sitting again until we find a suitable donor SI.
No major updates on my car besides replacing the worn out battery. We also got some snow yesterday. First time in quite awhile!

Apparently Oregon doesn't know what to do with the weather lately. While we had a little bit of snow six days ago, today ended up being blue skies and sunny.
Since today was such a nice day, I decided to temporarily mount the sir-s wheels and take a few pictures of the car.

looks beautiful bro. I'm really liking the seats and the sir-s wheels, goes so wheel with the car. The only thing that would would complete this car is a slight drop: 2" front & 1.5" rear would set this car off.

Thank you! I don't know about lowering the car. I appreciate the ride quality of OEM suspension; it would take some convincing to make me change my mind...

Update on the car's history:
I was cleaning out my glove box and came across the original purchase order for the SI. On the ticket was a different name than the person that I purchased the car from (they had told me that they were the original owners). I decided to look into it and ended up making contact with the original purchaser. It turns out that she had purchased the car back in 1994, gave it to her mother in 2005 after buying a new car, and her mother ended up selling it to a gentleman in December of 2013. I then purchased it from this person in January of 2014. It looks as if he strictly bought the car to make a profit.
Despite it not being a one owner car, I consider it a one family car. The original owner and her mother both loved the car and took pride in driving it. I was also informed that the accident that I had originally believed to happen in 1996 actually happened around the year 2000. While on the freeway, someone on her left swerved into her lane. She went right, then over-corrected steering left, resulting in a 180 degree turn and hitting a median in the process. As previously thought, a couple front end panels were replaced as well as some minor body work to the right rear QP.
The original owner and her mother are both delightful women, and it was a pleasure to be able to speak with them. I can't say the same about the man that I purchased the car from, however. He lied to me and took advantage of the original owner's mother just to make some quick money. It's reassuring to finally know the car's TRUE history.

That's what I like about Canada's selling rules. You need a UVIP (used vehicle info package) from the MTO (Ministry Of Transportation) that states all previous owners, claims and liens on the vehicle in question. There are no surprises that way.

Well, it's springtime, and there hasn't been anything significant to update on the SI other than the accumulation of rock chips, miles, and dead bugs on the exterior. I've been extremely busy with work, family, and moving (we finally bought our first home), so the cars have been low on my priority list.
Since we had a beautiful day today, I decided to give the interior a good cleaning.
Additionally, I have a new, small oil leak that apparently drips onto the belts while driving and gets thrown up onto the hood. No oil has dripped beneath the car when parked. I believe it's coming from PCV breather box thingy above the oil filter but I'm not 100% sure. We will see next oil change.
Lastly, here's a pic of both cars in the garage. SO excited to FINALLY have a two car garage...

Same colour, I know. RTSi is decidedly RHD, and will be for the foreseeable future. It's actually getting a blind man's paintjob right now to cover up the worst bits. Harsh NZ sun was rough on it. Due to being closer to the ozone hole, maybe.

No new updates on the SI besides a few additional rock chips on the front bumper. I'm starting to think they possibly skipped flex additive when doing the repaint.
I do have a quick question though. I've searched, and understand the basic principles, but are there any secrets when removing the windshield reveal moldings on either side? The small weatherstripping that is glued to the molding from the factory has begun to come apart, and I need to remove the molding to reglue.
On a separate note, the Integra has found a new home somewhere in California. The decision to sell was very bittersweet, but I'm happy the new owner appreciates the car as much as I did.

Small updates to the civic. The gas station attendant that was refueling accidentally jammed the fuel nozzle into the side of the civic (idk how that happens, but apparently he wasn't paying attention), which resulted in a scratch, a paint chip, and a small dent. He immediately apologized and took full responsibility, and the manager agreed to pay to have the panel fixed. So I took the car apart and sent it to a local shop.
In the meantime, the sir-s wheels got new tires so they will now be the primary wheels on the car (no more hubcaps!). I also found a guy parting out a 1992 EX sedan locally, so I picked up the rear sway bar and rear LCAs. The car had 450,000 miles on it, but the bushings somehow still looked to be in good condition!
For those of you that have added an OEM rear sway bar to your civic, have you noticed a significant difference?
