that's way too much money for a stupid armrest. ill just have to dig and find what Hondas people have gotten to work and go to the junkyard. that is my next thing for sure though!

i could justify 75 for the passenger one since they're pretty rare. the place i bought my grill had one for 50 if i would have bought it in a package deal but i passed.

did you get that grill off one of the v's i posted in the deals thread? if so, were they flexible on the price? they are close by me. cause i need both front door actuators. the doors would buzz all crazy so i just took the fuse out cause it was so annoying.

nope, i ordered it from a local yard about 45 minutes from me. might as well give those yards a shout though, never hurts to let a yard know you're looking for CRV parts

check out car-part.com and search under the canada section. they have quite a few listings, don't know which ones they are though.

took advantage of the rare decent Nebraska winter weather this weekend and got some stuff done that I've been wanting to do.
Installed the chrome surround off an SE model CRV

then cleaned up the taillights with VHT Nite Shade red tint

I feel like this should have been done from the factory

now all i have left is to get the spoiler painted this week hopefully.
haven't decided if i should leave the chrome piece on there alone or plastidip it black

haha true, may just have to wait until she closes one night for work. i think i just have too many coats of it on there. may take some time and sand them down with some super fine sandpaper again to see what it would turn out like

well a few updates, spoiler still isn't painted lol. have to wait until after the 1st of the year now. think I am going to plastidip my wheels either a gunmetal or black. seems to be the only thing holding it back from looking better. was bored a last week and found some snow that we had left
Attachment 528043

today, I gave in and ordered a set of half and half tails...I figure if I don't like them then I can always sell them since they're always sought after

also, have found out now that the weather has gotten pretty crappy around here that I need a rear wiper motor badly lol. so ya, to the guys who told me I would want it and not to remove it, thank you very much!

forgot to add that I scored a passenger seat armrest from a local yard. Rep came into work and told me that they had a couple new CR-V's in the yard so I swung out and thankfully had at least one piece I was still looking for!

Half and half's arrived today. Not quite sure if I will keep them on. The red out looks cleaner. If I don't, I will keep them.

Offroading places are getting few are far between. I used to have a few places here but thanks to idiots the land owners have gotten fed up with stupid **** and said no more, now if you get caught out there they tow your rig and you hand out fines.

ya, the first few were just off the road. the one with the hill and the fields was outta view from people off of a minimum maintenance road so i didn't really care. plus i wasn't tearing up their fields. where i live though, i don't really feel like getting called in for driving around in their fields when they have a lot of snow in them.

I always drove on the outside edges of fields whether there were crops planted or not.

ya, the farmers get pissy though and they know who i am so i would rather not have to hear about them coming into the local farmers cooperative (where my mom works) and them chewing her *** for it.
