I would like to introduce myself to honda-tech.
Name is Roel, I live in South Carolina. I've been lurking on this site for a few years now and finally decided to register. I would also like to thank y'all for the info I got on here while working on my current project. It's time to share my things with you all!!

I got my hatch back in 2011.

Here she is:


In Nov 2012 My girl rear ended somebody and I was planning to take it apart anyway. (Bent hood and radiator support) that weekend I put it on jack stands and started to take her apart


D-series gone!!!


Had to take the interior out to make sure everything was all cleaned up!


Took me a couple months to decide what should I put in there. I've talked to locals what should I do for my first motor swap, most of them said B. I wanted to go all out and just get a type r! Ordered from Steve from HMO for a complete change over! It arrived within two weeks!




Had to buy some things for HMO warranty for the motor.
New waterpump/ timing belt/ ect ect. Nothing better than oem



I also ordered new suspension and went with d2s



I ordered hasport mounts.



Completely forgot about this mount and had to do 1 day shipping!! Completely waste of money lol

 

Motor went it as soon as the post mount came in!



Ordered some wheels, went with xxr 531 plat +0 offset (worst decision ever) still regretting it lol! Had fun while it lasted I guess



Got a eg edm rear fog light! Wanted something different that no one around where I live has!

Changed my autozone intake for a velocity stack with k&n filter at the end. Yes I did have ac and eventually it broke off one day lol.


Clutch went out a few months ago and replaced with exedy stage 1


Clutch and pressure plate installed

Chargespeed front lip installed



Tire blew on the gay *** xxr531 and raised it up. Got rid of them and picked up some slipstreams for stupid cheap price with tires but the tires were cheap.

Car looks good, I'm sure it hauls. Align the front panels a little bit better, it'll make a world of difference when you're sitting there looking at your car.

Nice progress I should post up a build on mine might do that soon. Mine is b16b change over as well CTR 5 lug and other real goodies.

 

Where did you get the front lip from it doesn't look too bad. I have oem Ek4 sir front on mine.

 

The slipstreams what offset and size did you get ? Do you have problems with them rubbing

I think I paid 125? From inlinefour with 1 day shipping. And I got too low of an offset for the wheels to fit properly

 

Nice, I got a local shop to order my lip to get a little bit of discount

 

I think the offset is like 35. I got them from a buddy of mine for $100 bucks. And I have no rubbing issues. My fenders are rolled and pulled though because of the old set of wheels I had was a bitch to fit inside my wheel well

 

I won't be doing 5 lug for a while. I'm going to finish list of things I want before I go back and redo everything else.
