So, I need some advice and a means of figuring out what the hell the do. I have a '97 Honda Accord LX with 194k miles. It's recently been acting really weird. As of yesterday, it's begun a rough idle where it'll rev to nearly 3,000 rpms, then drop down to below 1,000 multiple times. When I try to stop, I can feel the car straining to move forward and it's starting to pull forward slightly, too. I've been reading some forums and I think it might be the IAC valve or a vacuum hose. I'm not well versed in cars at all and have next to no idea as to what I need to do. I also heard it could be my fuel injector? I'm not sure, truthfully. Any opinions on what I need to do? I seriously need help.
