If I put COOKING OIL (Soy, Canola and Olive oils Blend) To check compression...
That's exactly what I did, and two weeks ago it was 170 across, and two weeks later -120, and one cylinder 150. Would it be because of not motor oil used to do a wet compression test?

huh? have you done port and polishing with the bag of sand into the intake pipe prior to checking compression?

yea...not for nothing, but olive oil is as expensive as motor oil....maybe more so...

You probably sautéed your rings for too long. Next time, stop after you've lightly browned them. For best results, add freshly chopped parsley.

As for why it happened: It was in the moment!!! I had to run to work and did not have any 5w30 around so I Improvised in my impatience to find out whats up with my motor!

When i start the car now I can still smell the burned oil and I get some milky white stuff under the oil cap.

Milky white stuff is normally a blown HG. But with what you poured into, who the hell knows whats going on in there.
Why it happened? Engines like motor oil, not cooking oil. They are 2 completly totaly diferent things.
IMO you fried that motor. How low was the oil? Was it worth it?

If you were in a hurry about to leave for work, why not just wait till after work and pick up some oil on your way home? Some people amaze me lol.

Should have listed the milky white stuff in the first post. It would have helped us connect the now lower compression to the real issue. Oil change and cross your fingers but with the new lower numbers it doesn't look good.
Everybody is trying to be a smart *** about it, BUT why don't YOU wait till you have more time and then try to make it to that appointment, instead of gunning it and getting some "Christmas lights" on your tale?!!! I know you've been to that situation, and this is not any different from that: "Maybe it will work" kind of moment...

For future reference: To get it ready for a turbo, what is the recommended head gasket and head bolts to use for up to 300hp application. Looking for some experience here, who had luck with what.
