I can't stand exhaust that I can hear over the motor. I even like to hear my stock D15, so the WS2 is perfect for my taste. I really liked the sound of my friend's Spoon N1 on his B16A, but couldn't get over the droning at highway speeds.

WS2 definitely sounds good, but the looks and mild steel piping kill it for me.

Agreed, i herd Claudios exhaust in person and it sounds phenomenal! I love how it sounds and looks but i'd get annoyed very quick on the highway. Thats the only thing that holds me back from getting one.

Only thing that keeps me from getting rid of the ws2 is tickets.

Not trying to race anyone on the streets anyways so for the moment I have a custom dump pipe I've made for the track

Yeah I prefer hearing the engine over the exhaust which is how it was with the stock muffler. I love hearing the exhaust though, and IMO you can hear the engine more than the exhaust at WOT above 3,5k rpm but at that point they'll both be screaming.

Maybe a month from now or so, we'll see how things are then. I'm trying to cut back some hours at work and then we can talk more about that

Yeah I'm not a fan of the looks and the fact that it can rust pretty much settles it for me.

Yeah man it sounds sick and I you didn't hear much, theres a lot that you still haven't heard. I have barely beaten on it above 4k but it sounds incredible up top.

Something that is really neat about it is the fact that it backfires

Pretty badass hearing the exhaust gases ignite, it sounds so awesome

I've been playing with different conditions and I am learning how to do it and can get it to do it continuously for about 7 seconds or so.

On the highway is not bad at all, street is louder IMO. Also I have the silencer on now so its much better, at around 3k (80mph) it almost sounds completely silenced.

man i miss the days i use to sit at 3k doing 80. when i had the 4.4 b16 transmission on the ls with the 14's i would sit around 4-45k avg 65-70mph one night i got bored and nailed in and ran out of motor right as i hit a bill. i do miss the lsd and gearing when i was in the city. i remember how my hatch would give me a head ache after driving to la. 3 hours in the car at 4k trying to stay out of the early vtec of a gsr with the thing screaming. I loved it at wot too. i remember my friend who is a v8 guy told me after we just happened to fly by that it sounded like a race car. By far my favorite exhaust when i had the gsr swap. who knows maybe i'll end up with something more practical. i wont be making my mind up till after nov 20th. hit me later and i'll fill you in.

I sold the catback piping with my old car 6 years ago and had it all replaced by a muffler shop. Before I put it all back together I hit the piping with some BBQ black paint and it has been just fine. The huge polished canister bugged me too, so I sprayed it with the same paint and it looks pretty OEMish now....

The WS2 is it stainless. The WS is mild steel. When I had mine I painted my muffler black.

He's not talking about the muffler just the piping, which isn't stainless

Yeah I see an exhaust as a price of art, so I'm really picky about the craftsmanship when pick one for my own cars. I also fabricate custom exhausts at work so if it's not stainless and tig welded I don't wanna see it lol.

Start making your own custom for Honda owners, set a new standard of quality!

it would be...

"more then you can afford pal..."

Seriously though a real quality exhaust takes a lot of time and energy to do, especially the way evan would get it done. Most honda owners wouldnt pay 1400-1500 for an exhaust made from SS.

Short gearing is nice but I would never want to be pegged while just cruising lol. I'll hit you up soon

Yeah same. I love driving with it, most of the time I don't need to use my visors

Yes, me and Evan are going to get it to fit SHG spec

As soon as I get a few things out of the way I will get working on it. I'll be working less hours starting next week so should be able to get some more work done. Just saving up for now.
