k-sport coilovers review...anyone? 99 CRV
I went with Ground Control coils over the Integra/Eclipse AGX setup. Rides well car feels well dampened and well controlled. The only change I would recommend is a slightly longer front spring ( 9") Ill post pics later today. I was looking at KSports also, but for every 3 good reviews I could find a bad one, and I didn't like those odds. Jay @ ground control worked with me for a couple weeks and so far I like it a lot. Doing one suspension mod at a time so I can appreciate each change. Rims/Tires this week Addco sway bar this weekend.
i have the ksport pros. i enjoy them. no real problems at all. they went on fine and drive great. i enjoy everyone looking at my v, wondering why its that low lol
koni sport(yellow) rear for crv i think was discontinued... few years back ive seen
them on sale... cheapest was 150 for a pair, since your V is already that low, why
not try to get the konis for eclipse/dsm rear, ive used that set up for 3 road course
it did hold up.. til now, im using the extended top hats too btw, if you wanna get
an adjustable dampening for cheap..get the agx..LOL!
from what i know.. ksport, D2, bwr..kido..etc were made in china that was just rebadged
here as their own brand....

i know some k sport have camber /strut/height adjustment
what does it have? just the height adjustment
I've got them on my car right now and I like em but think they are a bit soft. In the process of gettin some stiffer springs for the fronts.
Overall, not a bad ride though.

i see that you have the black ones...whats the difference between that and the orange set
i might go yellow speed coilovers

all the "new" coilover brands are all made in the same factory in china. they are all the same **** just different colors and rebranded. ksport, funtion and form, d2, yonaka, bwr etc.
my source for this is a close friend and the owner of yonaka motorsports.
i am using tein ss from a integra type R and couldnt be happier.

Just had my car up on a lift yesterday and noticed that both rear struts (ksports) are blown out. Only had them on the car just under 2 years.. Just thought I'd share.
ksport is the same ****. they are all rebranded chinese coilovers from the same factory.
yonaka, function and form, bwr, ksport, omnipower, pic, megan racing... etc.
they are typically good for civics and integras but i have seen many issues with heavier cars like preludes and accords.
i will get some pics of the mounts i made for my rear control arms. it was super easy and took me 15 min. basically its a piece of 2" square tube that i slid inside the factory shock hole and welded new tabs to the top of that piece raising the shock mounting point for the eye.
my crv rides so nice. and has the adjustable dampening if i want it stiffer.

crappy pic before it was leveled out. front is pretty much as high as it can go. spring has preload. back was lowered about 2" on the coilovers. i was messing around with the suspension before this pic because i just put those work wheels on because my volks are going black. the works are less aggressive fitment so i wanted to see how low i could go.
