Intake/header/exhaust simply shifted power around on your car. It's not faster.

Save for a swap, or turbo it. Either way the money you spent on the bolt ons for the d-series have gone to waste.

Please check the FAQs sticky.

Also, thread titles MUST summarize the tech problem (be topic specific) so that members browsing titles can understand the problem without reading the post. Title edited.

That is pretty much not cost effective and won't net you any real power.

But if his stock ecu now is a p2p, he should get a chipped p28 cuz is better.

In what way? You seem to think that because you run a "chipped" ECU there is automatically some great performance boost. Go ahead and do it. You'll still be slower than a CRV. On a stock Y8 it's a total waste of money.

I did. Section #4 of the FAQs. Click the link. Who's name is on the post?
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/guide-answer-common-question-just-bought-civic-how-do-i-make-faster-2915974/
I did a LOT of research to put that together.
You're definitely not helping. Just coming on and saying "get a chipped P28 cuz it's better" isn't helping when you have no real info to back it up.

best way to make ur car faster is by removing it and swap it out(b,h, or k series) or turbo it

You should ask yourself these questions. Are you doing the work yourself? How much money do you have? What are the goals of your Civic? (Drag, Touge, Circuit, Autocross?) If you are looking for experience working on the car yourself. Then stick with the single cam for a while and go dual cam. Learn how to maintain it and work on it. But if you want to make your single cam faster, you can't really do much except turbo it. Also, with the price of force induction you can go for dual cam where the potential is at. And something you must know, all the money you dump into it might eventually break your heart with the risk of getting it stolen.

If your daily driving it either keep the single cam or go B18c1/H22 unless your planning to put more money into it.
