89 first gen integra suspension!?
I recently bought a 89 teg,i have a question about the front shocks.
Can the front shocks(which are only shocks) be replaced with shocks that hold springs?
or would it be best to just use the original set up, and lower the front by adjusting the clamp arm that holds the shock?

If you want to lower it, you only need to adjust the torsion bar mounts (up front, the rear should have more typical coilovers).
However, the stock bar is a bit soft, so you should go with a stiffer bar if you intend to lower it much.

You adjust the torsion bar not the strut. If your looking to lower your Integra, instead of buying springs/shocks you buy torsion bars/struts (to do it correctly, you can adjust the stock torsion bars too but it will ride like ****). The rear uses a normal coil spring/shock set up.

OP. You'll also have to find lowering springs for the rear which I'm assuming is going to be hard. I used to have a set sitting in my garage but sold them about a year ago.
Yep. I'm sure the tooling to make torsion bars is very expensive and not all too common anymore also.
