Where can I buy ASR backing plates only?

Look what showed up in mail! 2 days to go across the country.

kristo, thank you for the pics. I hope this thread can help others as it has helped me. I got 20MM bolts from Home Depot, so that should be good.

NP. Note that in my pic (bracket + plate) the plate is mounted wrong sided: the curved side should face outside (outside= bracket 'extension' pointing outside). I'll take a new pic and change it for the 'wrong' one to avoid misunderstandings.
BTW make sure your muffler leaves enough space for the brackets.

I had a random question. Why do you think ASR designed the plates with that square cut out from it? What's the purpose of carving that out vs leaving it solid? I think it wouldn't be worth it if they're trying to recover some of the aluminum to recycle since it's such a small amount for the work to CNC that portion out.

It already weighs very little; I believe it's aluminum.

It's in! I'm surprised by the angle of the endlink bolt though, but it seems to be normal. I just want to make sure by asking you guys. Thanks everyone for their help.

That is how the endlinks looked on my friends dad's car when we put his sway bar on.
I think he's got 20k on them now, and I haven't heard him say anything bad.
That's the only experience I have, as I run aftermarket endlinks front and rear.

Revisiting because of my EK4 15mm install (SI: 13mm).
Pics showing the ASR backing plates and endlinks angles (mind this is a non-lowered car at this moment).
Also added some relevant pics from another thread.

Why in the world are you guys using braces with OEM swaybars? They are tiny...
I'm using a GSR bar on my daily driver '99 Civic EX with no bracing, stock shocks and Tokico lowering springs. I've had it on there for over a year(12+k miles) and beat on it when I instructed an AutoX school last year. No issues whatsoever and I'm not concerned about it.
Anything larger than a 15mm bar and I'd start worrying about bracing..

As said in this thread earlier, Civic Si's [EM1] came with factory backing plates from the factory. The engineers wouldn't put those on there if they didn't think it needed them with the stock 13MM bar. The ASR plates are only $14 shipped and I think it's a small price to pay for an ease of mind.
