Default DIY: RETRO-FITTING DA OE LIGHTS

RETRO-FITTING ON THE OEM DA HEADLIGHTS

If you don't know what you are doing and never did this before,i recommend you not try this as I'm not responsible for anything that go's wrong.

My setup
2x Factory OEM Kendrion D2S D1S Bi-xenon HID PROJECTORS
BMW E90 Xenon HID Projectors BEZELS SHROUDS TRIMS 3"
6k D1S Xenon HID Bulbs

Now i didn't take pics for some of the thing you need to do,but ill explain as much as i can.

Now start out with taking the bumper off, remove the bumper blinkers and side markers along with the brackets.
Now where the tire is,there is 2 screws for the sliders that you need to take off. After that, you will need to look under the front of the bumper and there should be 2 10mm bolts you take off.
Now you need to take the 4 bumper support bolts off,if you are doing this by yourself, put something under the bumper to help hold it.
Now that all screws and bolts are off, slowly remove bumper and set aside.
Now removing the headlight, there should be 5 10mm bolts (3 on top and 2 on the bottom) take them off and slowly pull light off. There is a white plug for the fogs, unplug it and the light will be free.

Now that the lights is off, there are 2 adjusters in the back, take the 3 screws off of each of them.

Now you will see the adjuster, unscrew them and put them in a box.

Now before you pull the light off the bracket, there is a 10mm bolt you need off.

Now pull the hole thing off slowly and that's it. On with the lining up and cutting.
I didn't take pics of me lining it up,but you need to do so or it wont work out. After lining up the projectors and making the marks for cutting, start cutting.

Now if you did your math right, the projector should slide right in and the glass should fit over it.

Now to seal things up,i used a grip like tape and a blow dryer to help mold it and make a base for fiberglass.

After its dry, time to install it. Put it back on the bracket and follow the same steps when removing.
Then install on the car and adjust it.

The output wont be all that grate cause i didn't sand the flukes as they are glass and hard to get to without breaking the glass cover.

Done, now to test it all out, this is only one light on and ill post the 2 lights on tonight.

And the video,click
