Hey guys, got my new website up! Check it out and hit me up if anyone needs anything!

Mish, don't know if this is up your ally but, I need an artist to sketch me up an idea I have for a 1/4 sleeve + chest and back that I've been putting serious thought into for like 3 years. I'm wiling to pay the artist if it comes out the way, or better, that I imagine. So put the word out and I'll discuss details with anyone interested. Think (or Google) "Texas Live Oak"

mitsubishiv5, the car is looking sweet.
jrivas356, glad you're around.
Welcome to the other members who've popped in since I last did.
GT5 is awesome, even though I don't have a lot of time to play it.
Hope everyone is doing well. Missing the squad a lot lately.

Also spotted this at stanceworks::
ive seen plenty of ef sedans with 5 lug. if i remember correctly the last one posted in this thread was a red/ possibly maroon sedan with s2000 wheels
and an in-n-out sticker
and an in-n-out sticker
not sure. do you guys know if 4x114 lug conversion presses into the stock ef spindle?
cause i already know that even with other year civics, axles are interchangeable. should be the same concept right?

When i was putting my GSR caliper/EX spindles set up together i was reading up a bunch on brake swaps. And i think that bigger brakes like 114 or 5 lug use bigger bearing that is may be a .5~1.0 mm bigger, but it has to be turned down to fit into a knuckle.
And well your obviously need EX knuckles to bolt on a bigger caliper on. Ever type R, CRV, Legend, NSX calipers will bolt on to an EX knuckles. You'll just have to determing what disks to use and what bearings, and if you have to mill them down.
OR you could just slap DC/EG knuckles(even type r 4x114/5x114) on but youll hate them the minute you do it, unless your gonna raise the car and go rally

you gotta machine the actual hubs down to fit the EX knuckles.
obviously you gotta get new bearings too, but you just get the EX ones again.
as far as the 114 is concerned, im not too sure but i think you would prolly have to do the same thing.

On a side note when i was comparing lower ball joints(between different year civics) they actually would all measure 0.5mm bigger than the hole in the knuckle, but all fit fine. Just a little fiy.
oooh, trying to learn a few new things before the drop spindles come in. since the spindles come bare, i was just thinking of pressing in the front with 4x114.3 hubs.........but since it might be worthless later on in the future i might stay 4x100.
only thing that is weird.
the guy selling the spindles claims they fit all civic 88-00. So imagine if you had a bigger brake setup? how would that come out? will the caliper brackets fit? are they all the same(which im sure they are not)
Is it possible to buy the integra setup(take into consideration the spindle position, may make more positive camber) and use those on your car?
I remember when i bought a set of shitty *** brakes from a member here on honda-tech, he claimed they were EX.
EX is not the same as DA spindles. Learned this the hardway. Plenty things wrong, if you dont own an si, it makes things much harder for alignment cause the inner tierods max out and run into the inner tierods when running bigger setups. so youll have to cut the outer tierods for them to screw in more(for more adjustment)
anddd not only that, the camber adjustment is out of whack, too much positive camber added. which is what i wasnt looking for, and alignment was out of **** too.
EXshould be a straight bolt on, no camber problems, or alignment problems

EX knuckles are identical to DX, they just have bigger ears(not sure how to call them) to bolt on larger brakes. Everything else is identical, so there is 0 changes in the susp geometry.
As for those spindles your getting im a bit sceptical of them being 88-00. I mean all DX had the same size brakes, but what about SIR's (or 99-00 SI in the states?) Obviously bigger brakes. So those spindles should only fit small brakes or big brakes or take some kind of an adapter plate?
