Mods -- Please stop closing these threads related to Peakboost, these threads are created so members of this site do not get ripped off and you need to set your friendship with Ken aside and think about the members of this site.

Had i seen threads like this myself i would have avoided ordering a PB kit myself and waiting almost 8 months to get my kit with horrible fitment issues.

Wow thats some BS rigth there. This sort of thing happens alot with the little guys but you would think a bigger company would have their **** together and keep their books in order to mak it through tough times. Sucks for the hundreds of people tht are out thousands of dollars.

 

Heh, not surprising. It's a shame that as you say, the mod(s) kept closing the threads that were busting Ken out. The closing of those threads allowed plenty more people to get scammed just because people were "friends". I wouldn't be surprised if this one gets closed or locked as well.

 

It would be a disservice to this boards members if a mod closes this thread.

How out of the honda loop am I..... last time I was really active on this site they just came out with their FTW manifolds and everything seemed to be going well, now they're in the gutter and Ken is probably thinking of a name change + relocation

 

My buddy is goin to be pissed, cause he just got his kit for his swapped EP3 hopefully it bolts up good!

 

good luck with that, i had to do some major work to get the charge pipes to fit not to mention the terrible design of the A/C kit downpipe where there is only a 2mm gap by the compressor making the A/c kit useless as it cooks the compressor all day.

 

At least his kit showed up. A little bit of fabrication will fix the fitment issues. Tons of people didn't even get their product!

 

I cant believe that such a known company would fu** people over like that. Shaty as hell. Good luck to all you peps with this situation.

That's funny. They were never "big". 90% of the people you think they are, are not. Its a common perception "thang" on the internet.

 

 

FML right now, my manifold is there right now, since the beginning of sept. i'll never see that thing again.

 

check ebay. its one thing to go out of business but keeping peoples items just shows what type of business this is.......was.

 

Their stuff is legit and pretty good. I think that they just tried to take in more orders than they could handle. Once you start getting backed up then you start getting sloppy. Just bad management.

 

"Just bad management" still does not forgive the fact that Peakboost is having a ton of issues with paying customers, to the point that PB is leaving many people out in the rain waiting months and sometimes more than a year longer for parts that should not have taken that long.

LOL Over priced? When the last time you heard an issue with full-race? Whats the price for getting a manifold that doesn't break and the company doesn't file bankruptcy and takes off?

And this is why no one gives a **** about making Honda parts, the people are just retarded who ask for everything for nothing.

 

i expected to see more of this as the economy gets worse off.

From what i read on k20 hes got something else up his seleve hes going to do once all this is under wraps.

People that have issues with ken need to join up with clubrsx and k20a members to use the same lawyer to spilt the cost of the lawyer plus you will be able to have a stronger case.

 

Everyone who dropped their prices just to make the sale has officially doomed themselves. And now its came to the point where you going to start seeing them drop off as @ the end of the month they realized they were busy but financially upside down. Now that theres those who have been selling say ramhorns for $499, etc. people are not willing to pay anymore and i dont see the pricing structure ever coming back up to a feasbly profitable margin.

Customers need to realize that a company needs to make a decent marging to cover overhead and stay alive, if their not willing to pay that then expect to start seeing a lot more of these situations.
