speaking of paps, I got some weds tc05's instead of the volks, reason behind that is the volks would of left me broke as hell ha, need more money towards cams,injectors,tuning etc.. but better offset at +37, should solve my rubbing issues..plus white wheels are kinda coo, and they have sweet decals, and there forged!@

 

I need better money management skills haha. You always get your car back up before me and it always goes down after mine haha. In for the new wheels man. Sure the car is a blast

i love the motor..it doesnt really smoke, just leaky cam seal, fixed that **** with a golden eagle one. Also trying to make my 3 inch exhaust setup have a better note.. welding on a real muffler and a second resonator ha.. stupid raspy bee noise, so rice!

The wheels are 16inch spoons, i was going to get them from a friend but one wheel was cracked and welded, didnt want to chance it.. so i just picked up the tc05's with tires, should look good..always wanted those wheels to add to my future collection.

I did lower my daily driver today tho.. horizon gray da on ls mesh wheels, looks beaut! got some kyb gr2s on ground controls from my friend for 80 bucks

 

Always liked the monte carlo wheels. I was going to get one and get the oem Honda Momo horn button available at icb motorsports but ended up gettin my Nardi instead.

I'm also gettin real curious to see the power now compared to the old high mileage LS. Should be a night and day difference. I'm gonna have to wait and do cams and injectors down the road as well. No spare funds at the moment and ctr cams aren't the cheapest cams. Good luck with the build man, keep us updated. Always like peepin ur thread.

Nice pick up on the tc05s. Those wheels are fresh. Wish you woulda kept those sw's too! They look so hot in that sig pic!! Should ****** em and look for a single for sale then have a damaged spare haha. Whats the specs on em?

ya man, it's a huge difference.. especially with my b16 trans, thing just keeps moving and screaming, open header was great once i got out of my neighborhood..taking it to 8+ rpm sounds soo good, I hope my exhaust setup sounds alright.. I really loved how a spoon dc race car sounded at gingerman raceway, i couldnt get enough of it.. it wasnt a spoon n1 tho, looked like it but i guess more of just a race only setup.

oh and the spoons where never mine, I was just sampling how they look on my car, was soo close to buying them, but just couldnt, as that cracked one ruined it all..otherwise they would be on my car. It's coo tho.. next year ill be hunting down some volks and the weds will make there way onto my da, or use them as my circuit wheels with slicks on them. I just needed something now with a better offset, plus I'm bored of owning "fake" wheels..

welp i f'd around with it this morns to find out what the issue was...I believe the valve cover gasket bursted out some oil during vtec, seeing all the oil pressure goes to the head..i noticed a wet spot around the valve cover leading towards my injector which had oil on top of it. Also under the intake manifold.. I guess oil leaked into the injector port and clogged up my ****, reason I was running on a few cylinders and smoking like hell... then it cleared up, doesnt smoke now..

 

Damn man that sounds like no fun at all. So is everything running normally again?

K i just backed down on the mugens ha.. im crazy, but cant really afford, plus the car needs bugs worked out, and cams etc.. going to stocks

 

Hahaha your crazy. Be patient and save. Get what you want you will be much happier. Car looked good on the mugens but there are better wheels. I do recommend you stick with 16s though. Fill out an integra wheel well a little nice IMO.

 

ha, what I really want are wheels that are too damn expensive..I got the weds coming again, 700 shipped is cheap for them with tires, one tire needs to be switch but still..damn, better than having to buy stock wheels. Roll on those, perhaps more towards winter ill be searching for my 16in ce28's or te's..no big deal. Goal right now is to get this car driving safely and kinda quietly ha.

thanks man...sorry on the bearings, but **** happens.. I went through 3 sets rofl! rod knock, picked wrong clearance size, and now I have the acl .001 extra clearance bearings in. Thats pretty awesome your building your own motor tho. For sure doing that on my next bottemend. F*ck paying for labor..especially with these shady mechanics i deal with here..

I hope the big plans coming involve forced induction of some sort. I wish I had never spent one penny on any NA parts for my Teg. I would have went boost from the beginning if I hadn't been scared of it.

Ive had 2 turbo cars before..both ended up lasting a year basically, first one due to a shitty turbo kit... next one i just gave up due to blown rings ( wish i would of kept that crx ) But I do miss the power, and how easy you can pull away without having to downshift. It's still in the air of what i really want to do, wether it be circuit time trials. or just going to my local drag strip with a race gas turbo setup.

I did contact t1, he told me even with my 11.3-11.6 compression 350-400whp is doable on race gas.. we'll see what I go with. Right now the car needs new valve seals it seems...there brand new but the head was sitting for a year soo i guess that caused it.

I got my muffler welded on finally..sounds awesome up in the revs, atleast from what i can tell sitting in the drivers seat..ill make a vid.

3inch stainless kteller piping to vibrant 18inch resonator to a 6inch round magnaflow muffler welded up by noribilt.

thanks man.. i do like the exhaust a lot, I wanted a spoon n1 but I wanted to try out this 3 inch craze and make the most out of my motor during dyno. Pm a price on the seals. thanks dude.

 

itr valve cover 60 bucks! My engine bay needed this bad..looks awesome, plus easy access to adjust those future cam gears .

Last night I got a chance to compare my motor vs my friends real itr motor in rs integra.. we were basically dead even, and against a 09 civic si with i/h/e..i lost but then again im on a phearable tune with gsr cams and stock gsr header..

 

a nice aluminum rad will fit that bay so well ! keep it up man. I love how it looks! Clean and no BS
