That and the fact that it's still 100+ degrees at night time makes me not want to do anything, I need a swamp cooler for the garage or something.

you drilled the LCA? I'd be scared for the integrity of the structure.

I doubt the holes drilled into the arms are very deep. I would imagine they'll be fine.

Default DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR F7 ARMS!

NOOOOO DON'T.

We DO NOT recommend doing this for your control arms -- especially the inboard mount point where you drilled into the thin section of the arm. That spot is a high stress area and drilling/tapping a hole into it increases the stresses at that spot, and may eventually lead to failure. This is why we recommend the zip-tie method.

The design of all our arms is a fine balance between weight, strength, safety and performance and because of this I'm personally concerned about your control arms and your personal safety. Please actively monitor the situation and let me know if you run into any issues in the future. I'm worried that your modification may lead to the arm snapping sometime in its life.

If you do not feel confident about your arms at any time, you can send it to us and we will perform extensive structural tests (x-ray and/or ultrasound) to make sure that no internal cracks have formed in your arm over time.

We also noticed that you're not using the nylon locknut that we supplied with the arm to bolt on your shock. In addition, the bolt you're using looks a little short. These are important safety features that you should not overlook.

Please change the bolt out (use the Honda 88mm splined bolt) and use the nylon locknut we supplied to mount the shock.

Keep on racing but be safe! We want our customers to come back to us to buy more stuff.

the bolt was not installed all the way. That's why it looks short. I understand your response as a company. I just wasn't happy with the zip tie method to hold the ABS line. I will be keeping a eye on them for any cracks but I don't see any issues coming from the small drilled hole. Thanks

I agree with you 100%.

I mean honestly, if you're making a quality part but yet have to ask customers to use zipties, well... :/

I mean I'd like a set of F7 rear lca's, but how hard would it be for you guys to have a tab or something to securely mount the abs lines to like oem?

And if a tiny (look at it, it's super small) pilot hole for a tiny bolt so that eflove can mount his abs lines in a decent manner can weaken these rear lca's to the point of failure then well... :/

I'm just sick of replacing zip ties all the time because they become frail/ brittle over time - and when they fail bad things can happen to the things they are securing (brake lines, abs lines, etc).

Do you need Optional sway bar linkages when purchasing LCAs? and whats the difference between the normal LCA and Spherical Bearings?

You can use the stock linkage, but I used a longer bolt (make sure the grade is decent) with washers to make the linkage sit perpendicular.

The standard bushing should last longer than the spherical.
