to flush or ok? 17X7.5 38 mm SA70 Weds
I look to buy Weds Sports SA70 wheels
In 17'' the width is 7.5'' width 43 mm offset
the car as about 2.25'' drop, no camber correction
do you think this will work on a ITR?

FAIL! Dont be one of these trend humping band wagon jumping pole smoking fanboi's! Put a size wheel and tire combo on your caR that will actually help performance. Otherwise, you dont deserve to own an ITR. go buy a civic and ********** to Phaze2
If you use the proper sized tire, they'll probably work. You may need to roll your rear fenders a bit and you may get some rubbing up front, but possibly not if you leave camber as-is.
This also depends upon springrates firm enough to support that 2.25" drop. You may find that you need to raise your car up slightly.
17" wheels give you no performance benefit unless there is a tire in a certain OD and width that a 15" or 16" wheel does not offer.

the wheels are Sa-70 and they are only available in 17 for ITR
the only width available is 7.5''. so I want to know if I could use it

Oh, in that case. Todd00 gave some excellent advice in a post above.
Can I ask why are you going with 17s versus any other size?

I see. Aside from the size, the reason I ask is Weds are usually on the heavy side. That being said I dont know the weights of these off hand.
Should fit OK, rear fenders need to be rolled, fronts should be OK
I had LE37t's in 17x7.5 40offset with 215.45.17 tires and there was only minimal rubbing

Pretty sure he was just looking for answers from someone with experience with the around the same size wheels he's looking at getting. Not half assed theories from the Type R **** Peanut Gallery

@ garret ->
i think this should work
I drive some ATS competition wheels in 17x7,5 with an offset of 45mm.
the tires are 205/40 Toyos ( but they have a realistic width of 215)
My rear fenders are rolled (only the inner edge was bent over)
i dropped the car not as much as you want, but with the right chamber it should work.
