Can any one pla pla please help me out i just got done doing the swap its a 2.3 bottom and a h22a1 top with jun internals...ground control coilovers..roll cage.bride seats...gt3s...no turbo...no supercharger...yep all motor and last time i ran my single cam i did 9 flat i wanna make it better with the h 2 2 head...and jun cams...it turns over but wont spark i got a accel external IGN coil and a brand new dizzy rotor and cap with the 5 holes and hooked it up to cylider one two three four and 5 for the other one that goes on the top of my IGN coil...brand new fueses and relays..and got everything new needed to make my race car to start and it wont spark...

 

holy crap. i have no idea wth you just typed.

we may know but i still dont understand why you told us it had ground control coilovers, roll cage or bride seats. maybe those went bad causing you to not have a spark?

 

lol i see these guys are giving you a tough time, ill give u some pointers...make sure the three grounds are connected (tranny*most important*, valve cover, and thermostat) make sure ur firing order is right. if all is good, take a spark plug out and have a friend hold the plug agenst the valve cover while u crank the motor over and see if u are actually getting any spark or not...lemme know

 

Thats been done...still no spark i have the spark plug out on one cilinder and its on the valve cover and no spark

so do you have this motor in a go cart or some sort of tubed shopping cart? this is gonna be a close race tho.

What just happened?

 

i had the same problem on my car!!

i had the spark plugs in the wrong holes (i had them mixed up)

i think i had #3 spark plug in the #1 hole & jeez almost never found the problem.

try swapping the plugs around
