haha yeah man i dont care, go before show

ran 12.5 before dyno tune, made about 50 more HP, should be good for 11s now at a **** hair shy of 300whp.

going back to the dyno with a new cam to see if i can carry torque a bit better

Here's mine,

Bone stock LS
Log Manifold
Ebay T04E turbo
Fabbed up the downpipe, dumptube, and intercooler piping
DSM 450's
SRT-4 intercooler
Delta II wastegate
DSM BOV
OBX LSD
CC 4 Puck clutch
Stock axles

I have not had the car timed in the 1/8 with this setup nor have i even raced in the quarter. Im not allowed to race in the 1/4 until i put in a roll bar. It made 310whp on a mustang dyno but i was leaning out up top due to running out of injectors. so we tuned it back to 294 whp (i forget the torque but was aroung 270). Right now i have a built GSR in the works and hope to get around 500whp on stock sleeves with a Holset hx35. heres a video of the Flashlight Drags at Beaver Run Motorsports Complex. There are no times at the track.

Here's a more recent shot of my car. Had a lot of fun at Pink's All out, although they ended up picking a 10.4 class.

I got my ARP bolts for the flywheel and pressure plate today. So I just need to put those on the engine, mate the transmission to the engine and install the wiring harness. Then into the car it goes! I'm excited, I just hope hope hope that everything works out fine this time around

Here's some teasers of what's to come

i've got a new addition to this thread.

built for 1900-is dollars. about 1000man hours...probably more than that scouring craigslist, the forums, classifieds, etc. junky fiberglass doors, CF hood, 88Hf, plexi windows=around 1500 lbs.

300 WHP LS, with LSD trans=not sure howquick it'll be. we'llfind out SOON

intake manifold is custom, exhaust is a crushed MUGEN header (seriously, found it in the KING motorsports dumpster) made into a custom sidewinder manifold.

about an hour after finishing the turbo build , and about 10 minutes after a street tune, my brother in law and i drove it 170 miles , in the middle of the night, to the co-owners shop where he and tons of buddies spent 8 days and about 400 man hours tearing it down and painting it. EPIC

its name is GUTTY. the 075 loves gutty. thanks buddies.

is there a way to check compression on a motor without having the motor in the car??

I tried to check it by manually cranking the motor while on a engine stand but I cant get it to build compression....lol.

I'm guessing it's not packing enough speed or power to build compression, but I dont know what to think lol
