today i got some mudflaps 1 of the sets were the front 2 off a hatch and the other set the front 2 of a 4 door they look the same will the 4 door 1s fit on hatches? also are there rear 1s for hatches or are they customized to fit? thanks

 

They will fit, I have all 4dr mudflaps on my hatch. I've seen rear mudflaps on hatches owned by old people, so I would assume that they were factory.

Super hard to find for sure. I found a 4dr with them and and offer $10 for all 4, an hour later I had them all on with no modifications.

Not sure about years, my hatch is a 90 and the 4dr was a 89 and the mudflaps bolted right up.

 

88/89 and 90/91 rear sedan mudflaps are different as we have different shaped rear bumpers.

 

^^ Correct, sorry about my last post, I checked, and my mudflaps did come from a 90, and not a 91.

 

90-91 sedan and hatch flaps are interchangeable. The curve is slightly different but they are the correct length and all the holes line up. The 88-89 is not like this, unfortunately. You can use 88-89 sedan flaps on a hatch but they don't fit very well.

Here's a comparison, 91 Si and 91 DX sedan. Both cars have 90-91 sedan rear flaps. (FYI all the front flaps from hatch and sedan are exactly the same 88-91)



This is what zenki flaps look like on a kouki...a little too short and the holes don't line up but it fits nicely.

I just bought a 89 dx Aka GOLDDIGGER AKA GOLDEN BROWN. I just came from the junk yard with some 91 rear mud flap and there is a little gap.

 

is there any mud flaps of a different honda that will fit the front on my crx. i cant find those any where
