The bulb getting too hot may be an issue but I'm probably never going to keep them on more then a couple hours tops so I think it should hold up fine.. only time will tell

Yes, the EL had fog lights as an option from Acura. It is pictured in my brochure for the EL. However, they have been discontinued. I have the replica EL fog lights made by Esuse, and even they are really rare. I have never seen a new set being offered for sale past 2 years. And contrary to belief, the Domani never came with fog lights.

just spoke with the painter, turns out the car is still gonna be another week for body and spray. he's done with the body work on the car, and finished the body work in the bay. he still has to do body work and repair on the lips and trunk. i'm getting excited because this guys good, and it's exciting to hear him get excited about painting my car. i've gotten to hang out with him a few times and express my feelings and and how i view the car. every time i talk to him he seems more enthusiastic and lets me know hes really digging into the details for me. after getting to know him, he says he doesn't even like painting something he can't get passionate about. hehe he even told me if it was a few years ago he wouldn't even paint a civic, but with the economy he's had to "lower his standards" hahah. funny to because he totally checked out my car hardcore for any frame damage or panel repair prior to even agreeing to paint my civic, he said sometimes it's just to much of a pain and it never comes out right that he doesn't even deal with it

so who really knows about some suspension tuning? i didnt realize before my OmniPower coilovers not only spring perch adjust but the body length as well. So I'm going to attempt to put them on the EK but to really dial it in not just slam it. I plan like a 1-2 finger gap, kinda like the coupe is with drop springs, but want to improve the ride if possible by adjusting the shock body as well as the spring travel

adjust the coil spring spanner nut up until it just touches the spring, then turn it in about a full turn, turn and a half. then adjust the ride height with the body. don't go and install them and then tighten down on the spring to raise the car like a lot of people do. that ruins everything.

mike: nice to know the civic is on good hand .

memphisraines26: i agree with mike on that. I also adjusted the height a little higher on driver side, so when you in the car the the load on left side brings the height down and becomes even.

Port sounds like you got lucky finding a great painter for your sedan. I haven't had any experience with my car getting painted except for some lips and bumper but if I do get my car done I hope to find a great painter like you did.

THANK YOU! that is exactly what I needed to know. I didnt know anything before when I had them on the del Sol. I even lower the spring perch quite a bit so I actually probably helped it out by what I thought was low letting the spring's do there job. I got about 3-4 inches turning down the lower shock body part tonight before I could see the bottom of the body in a pin hole window about 2-3 inches in lower part. (hope that made sense) so now when I put them on the sedan, it should ride even better.

I like the look of being lowered but the civic these came off originally must have been slammed I just need to get the parts lined up to start with the mods. Found some real help in here and some nice inspiration on HT lately for the sedan.

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-acura-28/small-town-winnipeg-another-bys-k24-powered-4-dr-honda-domani-g106-2049870/ LOVE this car.

Any body in here have FI auto D's?

I just hope to really sink into this project almost as much as my 7 year love of my del Sol.

damn i have so many pics and my stupid computer isn't letting me upload them!!!!!!

well i have the car back from the bodyshop, painted engine bay, installed everything needed in the bay, washed the swap, ended up changing out the trans, i have a JDM GSR with LSD and a B16A2 trans, i went with the GSR cus i dont wanna be on the freeway winding my damn motor out, also cus that LSD , once i did that i started installing the swap, got everything is that i could without having to lift the car up, swap is in, so is the a/c, power steering is in as well just need to go buy the belt, radiator is on, wiring harness is on, engine bay looks pretty complete minus small things, did most of this today, feels greeeeeeeat!...

now for tomorrow if i have time im gonna lift the car up, install all the things that i couldnt from up top like linkage, axles, and full exhaust

its all coming together and it feels great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just wish i could post pics to show its progress!

i'll see if my sis can upload them on her laptop and send them to me tomorrow

Ash do it! i think a B swap feels a lot more sturdy then a mildly built D. Superior design, even a B16 is a great upgrade.
