Default Please help me diagnose, car running rich

I DO NOT KNOW THE HISTORY OF THIS CAR.

I have a Honda CRX Si w/ a b17a1 swap. I bought the car no running correctly. Turns out the car had a ECU from 89 Honda Prelude, so I replaced it with a Phearable.net P28 spec chipped ECU and converted the car to OBD1 (obd1 dizzy, ecu, wire conversion).

The car runs and drives currently, but when I put the pedal past about 1/4 the car will misfire and bog down especially when vtec kicks in. It is impossible to WOT. The car had a bad TPS in it, I replaced that and calibrated to .045. What is weird is the voltage doesn't get past 3.6 (or around there) at WOT. Could that be a problem?

I replaced the spark plugs twice, and it still runs the same way. Someone told me the injectors might be the wrong ones for my car, so I took the voltmeter out and took the readings off each injector with the battery negative cable off.

From right to left, Ohm reading set @ 200

Cyl 1 = 2.8

Cyl 2 = 5.1

Cyl 3 = 2.8

Cyl 4 = 2.8

what is up with Cyl 2? and is that the correct reading for a b17 injector?

Thanks!!!

Car smokes black at idle, and when I get on it you can see a cloud of smoke sometimes.

did you put the tps in the right way?
and what program is in the p28?

and do you have any other cel lights?
sometimes your dizzy will also miss fire,

do you have really bad lag when you first press on the gas?

and are you sure the O2 sensor was removed from the ecu?

BUT i dont think you have your tps in the right way, there a little slot you have to put it in. did you do that?
because your reading is way off... and that just might be your problem.

good luck and keep me updated,
god bless......

No other CELs...

not sure if it really lags, it seems to drive normal when i do not open the throttle too much. when i do, it just seems like it is misfiring really bad and it falls on it's nose.

thanks that helped a lot...i think the little pin may have been above the slot, or under it..which is why it read correctly at closed throttle and gave me a weird # at WOT...it now reads .045 closed, and 4.5 open.

car runs a lot better, but still bogging a bit. it hits vtec decent now, but at the very top end it falls on it's nose. i think it may be from the plugs being fouled from the TPS set wrong. I am going to clean the plugs really good tomorrow and see if that helps.

you say it falls on its face? you should re-do the timing and center the dizzy. it cant be the plugs, because you say it runs good , then falls on its face. it could be the dizzy on the other hand. do what i say, and let me know how it worked out.

change the plugs, since you say they are fouled, then if possible , get the car tuned(sounds like a fuel/ignition problem.). i cld burn you a chip and mail you one if need be(to match your specs). lmk by pm what you are gonna do.
