Finally! NSX brake caliper install + Legend GS rotors
Very straight foward. Might be a little slow over the next week or so as we are doing alot of network upgrades.[Modified by AssPenny, 1:23 PM 9/13/2002]
realtime cars dont all run NSX brakes anymore
gsr is 1" bore , RS NON-abs is 15/16"
civic is 13/16 or 3/4 however you wanna put it.

Eitherway nothing in the way of MC or PV need to be upgraded. Get some quality pads and a good set of blanks and you are good. Steel lines are your friend too.

I figured you know how to do the rest. Here is where you need to place the washer/spacer.

i would probably look for hardened washers if you can get some as opposed to some that may "crush" or squish down... if not, at least use the same kind of washers on all the bolts and torque them down evenly.

Yeah, it's a good thread, threads like these should be brought back from the dead every so often... or would you rather him make a new thread about it so you can just tell him to "<FONT COLOR="red"><u>Search</u></FONT>" in the first place?

Ill git-R-up tonight.
Ill git-R-up tonight.
I read a bunch of these similar legend/nsx caliper conversion sites, but i'd like to know the specifics.
Exactly what materials I'll need as in:
Which year:
NSX/LEGEND CALIPERS
PRELUDE ROTORS
Do I need to change my Master cyliinder if so to which one?(By year and make model)
and if there is anything else please feel free to tell me. I am a noobie, and I dont have too much experience with da's but I am looking to do all this with my buddies and would like to know exactly what parts I'd need to do the conversion. Thanks a lot everyone. Email me at Branavan.muralee@gmail.com if you can, if not just reply on here and hopefully I'll see it. thanks.

-Brake pads are the same as the ITR
-Legacy rotors
-you can keep your stock master cylinder.
-I believe you also need a spacer for the caliper brackets
-if you want to the 02-05 NSX (NA2) conversion, you'll need at least 16" wheels
-Accord Euro R (CL1) rotors, -I think the Honda Odessey (forget which year) shares the same hub as the ITR and CL1
-spacers
-brake pads are the same
-you can keep the stock master cylinder
note: the difference between the NA1 and NA2 calipers are only brackets. NA2 brackets are taller to accomodate larger rotors. The core of the calipers are exactly the same and are even interchangeable with the stock ITR brackets.

just noticed that you're doing this on a DA? Note that whole thread is about doing a conversion on a Type R. Since DA's had an entirely different hub and only 4 lugs, you may need to do more modifcations to get it to work. I personally have no experience with DA tegs, so I don't even know if it'll work.
Otherwise no workie!
i have a set i need to sell they are na1 calipers. http://www.hondamarketplace.com/show....php?t=2557528
I ordered a set of NSX na1 calipers and brackest, but all the threads I read is talking about using 23t brackets, why cant I use the brackets that comes with nsx?
