My first attempt ever at video. I didn't even get to try the camera setup out before I went to the track so it was all trial by fire when I got there. The 2 glowing rods on the outside of the shot is from the bolts of the IO Port mount. I'll have those cut down for next time. I was also testing out various sway bars and suspension setups on this trip.

Thanks for the comments.

One last vid of my buddy in the RX7 blowing my doors off. Again.

I had just increased my rear end stiffness prior to this session and T1 was a little tricky at speed. I almost lost it in the dust.

I've never driven MAM, so I can't comment on your line. The things I did notice:
-You seem good and hard on the gas.
-Braking looks pretty good, getting on the pedal hard.
-Even though I don't know what the line is, it looks like you could improve consistency lap-to-lap. One lap to the next you might have a 5 foot difference from one particular apex. It wasn't completely all over the place, but could use some cleaning up.
-It was nearly impossible to tell from the vid based on sound (because of the wind noise), but it sounded like there were a couple spots you could stay full-throttle or at least lift less, as Rockin mentioned. I've shot vids though where it sounds like I was lifting, and it was definitely just wind interference.

If you don't mind...
I've done a few laps at MAM, so let me clear up what I ment before.
From the middle of turn 3 to the braking point of turn 5 you should flat footed and shift into fourth (stock US final drive R) just before the apex of turn 4.
Yes more consistant in the braking zones would yeild better times, but this is a HPDE
As I watch the video some more, I'll comment... if you like?

I dont know the track, but just by looking it seems you are turning in late at a couple of the corners. causing the car to run a bit wide and not able to clip the apex...

Please continue. I enjoy the observations.
It got me sideway's a few times. I am really amazed at how much of a difference in rotation it has made with just a simple trail brake and throttle lift. By the 5th session I was making a game out of it. Trail brake, lift, rotate, gas, catch it and pull it out. I can definately see where it could get me in trouble on the street. I don't think I will leave that bar on over the winter.
cool video's
turn 3 is def tricky with it's decreasing radious, it must have really been frusterating with the cones by turn 2..
talk to Budman for some pointers. i think that used to be his "home track" i've only been on it 5 or 6 times
all and all cool stuff ~thumbs up~

I miss those days... lookin like your getting somewhere, hard to critique not knowing turn #'s and actually not being in the car... but get a 4-5 point belt.
