**--Isabella Frost buildup thread--**
Installed my Camber kit from Skunk2. Check out the link. I'll be installing my RMF header this afternoon.

Did the RMF replica header install today. It barely clears the radiator fan(slim fan) and the a/c lines, but it does. Thank God. I had to trim the **** out of my cross member. If you EF guys are putting this in your EF be prepared to cut the ever loving **** out of your crossmember or buy an aftermarket one. Soon, I am going to just hack the entire center section of this crossmember, weld some supports inside the open ends near the radius rod mounts, and then weld a strong bar in between to make my own "aftermarket crossmember. This header is also about 6-8" shorter than my DC 4-2-1, so I've got to run it to a muffler shop in the morning to get that closed up. I would do it myself, but I'm tired of being on my back on the ground. Here are some pics.

I should have really taken the crossmember back off and ginded another 1/4" on the bottom and top parts, but I was tired and fed up. I'll get it another day. hopefully I mod this crossmember before I get around to doing that. What a PITA.

Thanks aznkid.
I ran my car to a muffler shop this morning and they decided, along with my suggestions, to modify it and remove about 32" of the old exhaust center section. this is what we ended up with. Instead of using both donut gaskets, we used one and welded the little adapter piece, with a universal 2.5" flange slipped onto it, to that flex pipe. That was a great idea IMO by them. At first they wanted to cut the header, I was like no. you are not going to cut the header. Take out this section and redo it instead. lol

I also took measurements today. The ride height measurements were taken from the top of the wheel to the fender. yea, I realize my heights aren't the same in each corner. I haven't corner balanced the car yet and it looks pretty even to the naked eye. So,

I haven't scraped it yet around town. I'll have to make sure to be extra careful though. I just had my exhaust modified to mate with it. Doesn't sound any louder. If anything it sounds quieter. S.O.P. dyno feels a bit better especially around 6K rpm on the gsr motor. When I either modify my crossmember further or buy Nick's innovative crossmember, I'll really romp on it and go dyno and such.

Couple pics showing a/c line clearance. it's VERY tight. Stupid EF's, lol

And one showing the clearance to my slim fan. I could just move the fan over more but I am so sick of messing with these fans.

The exhaust work I had done when I had them close up the gap. they cut out one of my resonators and a large section of my old shitty exhaust(that I made, lol) and redid it right. Oh when I was installing the camber kit I noticed that my stock axle tore a damn boot. How lucky am I? I change axles at least 3 times per year. About to just order a set of Driveshaft shop stage 1's.

I've got more pics of my crossmember. Used a plasma cutter to cut another couple inches into it and then used angle iron and flat iron to reinforce the **** out of it. Feels a lot sturdier than it did two days ago.

Finally got a good chance to compound and wax her. Took forever and a LOT of elbow grease. I wish I took pictures of the clean section next to the dirty section. Huge difference for sure!

There are a few areas that need some body work, so when I have that done and it gets repainted, I'll probably redo the pin stripe. I'm not sure yet. I'll have to see how it looks with no pin stripe first.
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!
Thanks Shane. I miss it too, but I dont miss scraping everything everywhere.
Don't know if you guys noticed, but I also put my UKDM tail light center section on. I've had it sitting in my room for 3 years!

Finally got a crossmember to replace my stock one that I had to cut and weld etc. If anyone wants to buy it from me, you can have it for $100.
New ****!

I'm also about to replace my main fuse box in the engine bay to finally fix this ELD code. Just replaced my map sensor in hopes that it will fix this top end stutter/missing problem.
