It's finally time for a build thread of my own! Not much but its a work in progress. I'm not as fast as some people (cough cough Kevin) but I'm doing my damn best so back off haha Anyway bought this car back in June 08' from HT member (ekdj) Drove to New Jersey from Cincinnati and well worth every minute and dollar spent on this car! He had the motor put in prior to me buying it so props to DJ for making my life a little easier lol.

Not even on the road for 10 min and Mark aka heel_togue was already under the dash taking it apart lol



Finally back home parked it next to my BELOVED EJ8 :'( So sad to take her apart but we had our fun in the sun!!!

It's time to take this thing apart and get some fresh VSM sprayed! First pulled the motor...





And our entertainment for the evening.... lol hahaha




Getting the bay ready for some primer! After grinding all the studs off the firewall that I will no longer need it was almost time for some primer!

More updates? lol I just posted this lastnight what do you want from me??!!? HA I'm just playin, todays plan was to get the bay wet sanded but had to do a shitload of runnin around to get my trans. fixed! Bad 3-4 sleeve But tomorrow for sure the bay will be ready for sealer and base!

As for plans right now:

1) Get whole car sprayed VSM again
2) Finish the wire tuck
3) Install all of my goodies

then go from there! But don't you worry I have a few tricks up my sleeve :D

Only parts I swapped are the Recaro's and Spoon OG Mirrors. No More ROTA's!!! Eveything else is 96-98 soo....

are you using your EJ8 as a donor car?

 

Ill reply for him, he sold the coupe! The hatch is a 99-00 and the coupe is a 96-98. He has all new parts for the 99-00 exterior wise. Sorry adam
