Tein S replaced with HFP susp.
Get some pictures. There should be a sticker at the bottom of the strut with the model number on it. I believe there are only three coilover set for the new SIs: Basic, SS and Flex.
My guess would be SS's, but we'll have to wait and see.
If there is no damper adjustment then you have the Basic coilover setup.
If someone was actually dumb enough to leave a Flex setup on your car then congratulations.....you just lucked out with a nearly 2 grand coilover setup.
Then again all of Tein's products are pricey now.
Look at the upper strut mounts behind the little plastic pieces from underneath the hood. There might be a damper adjustment **** at the very tip. If it has it then you either have the Super Streets or the Flex coilovers. I believe the Superstreets have silver threading on the stut body where the height is adjusted from and the Flex have black threading.

Alright heres some pictures of the setup.
The first set is the car with the S-Techs.

The second set is the picture of the car with the HFP suspension.

The Tein S I think looked better, but the ride was rough and I was going to have to address the rear camber issue. Also, I had to be real careful with all speed bumps and large
driveways. The HFP set-up looks much stock, but the ride and handling are great.
I also don't have to address the rear camber problem. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

What I don't understand is, why doesn't the Si come standard with the HFP suspension? Seems logical. Honestly, the stock hybrid suspension is just about as low as the HFP. I'm sure the HFP is much nicer in all aspects though (unless you want a nice soft ride).
Will be having a new alignment this week. Interestingly fact on the alignement with the
Tein S. Not only was the rear camber off, but so was the to toe readings front and rear.
They were able to adjust that out with the stock adjustments. The only thing I miss with the Tein S set-up is the better look with the car riding lower.

Better to bump an old thread than create a new one.
Creating new threads on past topics always bugged me, so this is the next best thing.
