Default Mugen Aero Parts...

In addition to the known limited production run of MF-10's, it looks like Mugen is re-releasing DC2 products from Mugen, specifically the aero parts. Maybe, just maybe, the hard to find DC2 hood will be obtainable :D

From an email I received last night...

Scott Zellner, President
King Motorsports, Unlimited
The end of 2008 is almost upon us and what a
year it's been! I'll like to take this opportunity to
personally thank you for making this a great
year. We truly appreciate your business and
the opportunity you have given us to serve
you. As we all face difficult economic times,
we at King Motorsports pledge to remain in the
forefront of the Honda/Acura performance
industry with new, innovative product releases
and continued support of the Honda/Acura
community.
We are particularly pleased to announce the
release of the Mugen MF series wheel.
Since this wheel was discontinued back in
2004 their has been a tremendous demand to
bring it back into production. Working with
Mugen we have finally been able to do so. The
first shipment of 16" MF wheels is scheduled to
arrive in January, with other sizing in the
future. Along these lines, we are also working
with Mugen to bring back the DC2 Integra
Body Kits and Body Kits for the 97+
Prelude. We are also working on the release
of the Mugen Front Under Lip Spoiler
for the EK Civic. We will be introducing a
Mugen header and Exhaust System
for the 8th Gen Civics - designed
specifically for the USDM cars. Products for the
New 2009 Fit are also in the pipeline.
Testing, testing and more testing! That's what
our engine building and dyno tuning department
do the best. We constantly evaluate different
combinations and pass along information from
this vast knowledge base to our engine build
customers and enthusiasts seeking the best
bang for their buck. This knowledge base is the
cornerstone of our business. When you give
us a call you are actually talking to someone
that has hands on experience with our product
line, not just an order taker looking at part
numbers on a monitor. Meeting and often
exceeding the parameters of your build is what
we are all about.
We look forward to hearing from you and hope
you and your family have a safe Holiday
season!

Yeah, we all got that too.

I'd laugh my @ss off if they re-made the DC2 rear wing and priced it at $750.

vB blows

Anyways I hope the deal falls through, I could care less about rarity and limited quantities.

Mugen puts out the best fitting kits for our HONDA chasis and quality is top notch. Im not buying it for rarity, its a car part, not baseball cards or stock, be real lol. If you want something that appreciates invest in something else other than car parts.

I buy Mugen not for its rarity, but for its history, looks ( I love it ) and functionality, and fitment, further more for its relationship MUGEN has with HONDA to create such an awsome product. I always liked the kit, I just couldn't afford it back then and now I can.

People buying Mugen for rarity and value

I don't buy Mugen cause it is rare

I hope they make a whole bunch of old Mugen Parts

even if they do re release it, im sure production wouldnt start for a while. i didnt buy any of my mugen parts because of value/rarity. if i did they never would have gone on the car. at the same time, its nice to have something that isnt available to everyone.

I'm excited at the possibility of these parts being offered again but I don't think they will be priced at their original retail. If they are I think I to will be picking up a wing, possibly the areo kit.

That's about right for the last batch. I still remember back in 98 when the hood was $1100ish and the wing $680. Back then a used wing was $400 and painted...

Yep, I actually passed up a used gen 2 wing for 500. I am still kicking myself to this day.

Maybe re-releasing discontinued Mugen parts was King's measure to tap the dwindling market...

...and to help out their loyal ITR customers

Has there been any more talk of these wheels being remade, or the Aero kits along with spoilers?
