Default STC GT3255b and SLS shorty: Stock block GSR going to the dyno...

NEW NUMBERS

314.8whp 216wtq at ~10-10.5psi

Comparison VS the Topmount

The peak power is nice, but the gain in the midrange was the most noticeable. At 5252rpm where torque and HP cross, i gained 50+whp and 50+ft/lbs of torque. This tune was conservative as well!!

DB Performance---Shane thanks for the many tunes

Hey guys, earlier this year i posted my dyno graphs with this turbo. They didn't really turn out as planned. After a little manifold switch, the turbo feels much more responsive and powerful.

My setup remains the same as before other than the addition of an SLS Shorty ramhorn manifold and 3" dp instead of my previous topmount.

Thanks to Mike and Nick at SLS, Mac at STC, and BobChestnut (for the pictures)

Good Looking set up. I am glad you are happy with the purchase and it sounds like it is hands down better than it was before with a set up that cost twice as much... haha glad your happy...

What were the previous #'s? Overlay the grpahs if you could. I wanna see the midrange power difference.

306/208 at 10psi.....the peak power didnt gain a ton, but the midrange REALLY gained a lot!

if you guys like this setup, there is a deal right on it right now. TTT and TheShodan are putting packages together to suit your individual needs...whether its a stock or built Honda, they can do it all!

So the power was made by going from a Top Mount to a Mini Ram style exhaust manifold?

If that's the case then I suspect a **** load of top mounts for sale in the classifieds!! haha

The topmount was not practical for the turbo setup.

Many people are buying topmounts these days for the cool factor not because they need the benefits of the topmount.

i couldn't agree more....too many people buy topmounts and turbos that are way to large for their setups....this is a very nicely matched manifold/turbo/engine combo for the street...it makes good power all around AND still makes good peak power.

Thanks for all the good comments I"ll have the graphs up soon!!

What did you end up spending on a set-up like this if I may ask?

Nice work Adam! Did you even put ARP's in there yet, or is it BONE BONE stock?
