have any of you guys ever seen this..its a JDM Super-Charger for the b-series ....



i dont think its related with the s/c system, but a old-school lookin mugen intake box

 

Looks pretty sweet. Ive never seen anything like it.

 

 

Looks like the same supercharger JR uses.

Also appears to be a Mugen airbox painted red.

 

at first i thought it was for a GM or something, but that brochure on the floor has a pic of a DOHC Vtec Valve cover with the S/c installed on it....

 

very interesting...wonder how well it performs.

Interesting. It does look alot like an EATON blower but I would imagine EATON supplies alot of companies with blowers.

So which "JDM" company markets/produces this kit?

I have never seen it marketed by any big reputable Japanese companies. Then again............red spray can paint to the top of the "Mugen" box .......interesting combo for sure though....200-220@the wheels with 6-8 psi?

 

Definately looks like a Jackson Racing SC. Very cool if it is not though.

I remember C's used to make a S/C for the B-series but this one doesnt look like it.

 

m62...same trim the jr charger uses on its itr kits.

well while i'm sitting here staring at these pics, the manifold logo either says c's corporation , or Gm corporation .....

but if you look on the actual supercharger unit...it seems to have some kinda corporate logo , its either a big C , or a G ..kinda hard to tell , but i'm sure that kinda factors out it being a JR

 

that logo on the manifold is C's

 

The Mugen Intake isn't Old School its the Non ABS Model which sits close to the fender, which is why you cannot have ABS in the car with it.

And yes its a C's SC System, Same company that makes the Short Shifters.

 

Hmm, I'd like to see better pics of that IM. Looks quite a bit different from the JR IM.

 

This is quoted from my domestic driving friend/roommate who knows alot about Superchargers etc.

Cs uses an M62 for B16As and an *M90* for B18C

 

indeed a EG6 setup, by C's using M62 blower
increase output on the EG to 216ps and 20kg/m of torque with .6kg/cm3 of boost
with 350cc injectors and at 0.8kg/cm it makes 250ps (80ps increase over the 170ps stock rating)
