How to: 11 inch brakes on 3rd gen
mmmm
the single pistons are the most commonly use for one main reason. when you use the two piston switched which is what it is on the integra the larger piston is backwards from how it was designed to operate. most of us just use the 23T single piston ITR.accord.legend caliper for this reason....they are also cheaper

oh it's extremely effective and with the right pads very very fade resistant with NA power levels. hell with higher temp pads you can even drive a moderate turbo car and have decent braking
If you use the 98-01 ITR hub (5x114.3) and press it into the 4 lug bearing could you use a Legend rotor and calipers with the modification to the caliper bracket? As for the rear the 98-01 ITR hub (5x114.3) what rotors and calipers and bracket would be used?
I have a question that could help out those wanting to use NSX (NA1) calipers.
Using the NA1 brackets, would the same amount needed to be removed from the caliper bracket to position the rotor properly? I'm thinking yes. I believe these calipers can be mounted directly onto ITR calipers, but I wanted to make sure.
The NSX calipers were designed to be used with 28mm width rotors. Using these calipers with re-drilled Prelude VTEC rotors, you would lose 5mm of use from the pad.
Is there a solution to this? A thicker 4x100 rotor? Thicker shim inbetween the pad and piston?

I am using the mini cooper rotors and single piston legend calipers w/t23 brackets. I have also done new wheel bearings, bushings along with russel steel branded brake lines and new master cylinder. When I turn my steeling wheel while at a stand still I loose my brake pedal but it comes back after I pump it any ideas?

I have and used a vacuum bleeder, it is weird only happens at low (>5mph) speed and when the wheel is turned. Just to make sure again i am going to redo my wheel bearings. My master cylinder is brand new OEM and it is the second one I have tried.
I have Integra RS knuckles & (non ABS) brakes on the front of my EG. I know where to find the Legend brackets & calipers kinda cheap. I don't want to grind or mill or anything like that!!!!!!!!!!! WTF Will it bolt up or not??????????? I'm so confused!!!!!!!!!!! I got people saying it will work then people saying it won't work!!!!!!!!! Which is it?????????????????????

This guys didn't mill his caliper brackets in unison w/the mini rotor:
I know this thread is super old, but I thought I would share my findings. On my setup, I used the legend calipers and rotors from a 2007 mini cooper. I think it was the base model cooper with 280mm rotors. The hub hole sizing is identical to the integra and I didnt have to do any modification to the caliper bracket. The only problem i ran into is a very slight rub on the dust shield.

I'm all about getting a mini rotor & throwing it on my EG!!! I just don't want to grind and stuff & i plan on tracking the car at some point in time...
Now can we clear up a debate between using EF EX knuckles VS EF Si knuckles to use with this brake upgrade???????

ok so got my calipers/28t brackets in the mail.....but im unsure about one thing. which part of the bracket do i have to cut?

I thought the 28T brackets didnt have to be milled down... just the 23T and

i received my 2 piston acura legend calipers in the mail today. i'm planning to run the 280mm (11.0")"mini cooper base rotors, do i need to mill the 28T brackets or is it a direct fit without grind?
also, do i need to change the proportional valve and upgrade to a larger master brake cylinder?
i have a 01 integra LS on LS meshies

All the information is there people just need to pay attention.
If you have a 1 MC which I am certain you do, there isnt a bigger oem one.
okay so i got my hawk HPS pads today.
im still confused about the bracket issue. the ITR uses the 23T bracket and the rotors are 23mm. if the mini cooper rotors are only 22mm thick, is the 28T bracket too wide and have issues with the pad not hitting the rotor's surface?
the rundown:
22mm rotors = use 23T brackets?
28mm rotors (legend rotors) = use 28T brackets
25mm rotors = use 25T brackets
correct me if i'm wrong someone!!
