Mods, feel free to move this if necessary. Posting here because I think it is the most relevant forum.
Just giving a heads up to the Honda-Tech community that I received a PM from James0147 regarding a Mugen twin loop muffler that I have a want to buy thread for. James0147 sent me a pictures of the muffler via email. Everything seemed legit but I never buy online without doing research. I looked at James0147 profile and found he has no posts and joined HT today. Not totally unusual if you have something you want to sell and need to contact the person on the forum. However, my internet search turned up the same pictures currently being used in an ebay buy it now auction. Ebay auction location is Cali and the muffler is for a 92-00 hatchback. James0147 is in Florida and the muffler is for a EM1. I have emailed James0147 asking why that is with no response.
James0147, if you read this please post here, respond to my email or PM me again to clarify the situation.
I'm hoping to prevent someone from being scammed if this is in fact the situation.

ive also received a PM from james about a wtb post that i have made. he emailed me saying he has one in perfect condition. under his username it says banned

He's operating under the username Chuck231 now. Got me with the same **** on a Gen 1 Skunk2 intake for GSR. I didn't do my due diligence until after the fact, and now I'm fighting PayPal to get my funds back
