Dont be a hater.....he is doing it on the side to make some cash for his crx project. I dont think that he is a business....just guy trying to have fun with a project.

 

Actually I don't think the person who posted about getting a banner was hating, that is really a great idea to try and get the word out. I use to do the freelance thing but I got burned out really quick, customer demands, customer knitpicking, really have to have a love for it. I was pulling down some pretty decent cash, I would recommend going to http://www.elance.com. You have to pay like $25 dollars a month to be allowed to bid on projects, if you can produce some quality samples, a good reputation, then you should be able to succeed after a couple small projects. I was easily pulling down a few hundred a week doing small websites, business projects, and other small jobs. I was a featured elancer in their little museum, one of the first that was chosen actually, but anyways just get the word out and bid on a ton of projects and chances are good that you will get chosen to do a couple here and there.

They go off of a rating system, so keep your rating at
and you should be fine, money will be rolling in. You can also be a featured vendor by paying a lot more monthly, I recommend doing that if you do get a good customer base going and can easily turn over the $100 dollars or so a month to be a preferred vendor. Anyways man, best of luck, don't let the customers get to you
