Well let me start off my telling you why i think this, about a couple months ago i bought a nitrous kit from him, which was a single fogger kit. When i recieve the kit im a little dissapointed in the condition the bottle was in. It looked like it was painted with house paint. So i demanded some money back. Well he refused to which to me is ok i guess. I mean i had a pretty good deal, for 400 for the kit with a bottle warmer. Or so i thought. As it arrived, i look more thoroughly(sp?) through the kit, i realize it is also missing brackets, this is a very essential piece to the kit, as i need this to mount the bottle. This alone is 50 dollars. I talk to him and he tells me that when he can get some brackets from his friend he will send them on to me. Im ok with this idea. Well a month passes by and no brackets. He says hes trying to get them, but i never see any proof or hear of anything of him showing he is even trying to send the brackets along to me. SO i keep Pm'ing him to no avail. All he does is get frustrated because i wont leave him alone. Well i get tired of waiting and i am about to install the kit without the brackets, so im about to install the nitrous and see that there is also no nozzle adapter included which also is another essential part of this kit. When i ask him about this he does not respond. And now i try to Pm him and see what the deal is only to find out that he has blocked me. I don't know what to do except ask you guys, mainly people from Oklahoma whats the deal? do any of you guys know him?

do you know the guy's real name and addy? how did you pay for the nitrous kit? i see a lot of people from Dallas considering i leave here. where do you live? if anywhere close you hsould go pay him a visit and get re-embursed(sp?).

well I wouldnt consider this guy a scammer because you got what he was selling. It wasnt to your liking so I dont think this was a nice thread to post up. You should be a bit creative and make your own brackets and stop complaining. Most used parts are not to peoples liking because its not in a new condition. Just my .02 cents

 

He should of at least gave me somemoney back or something, im left with an incomplete kit, and did you not read the whole post he didnt include the nozzle apater = i cant install it, kit is incomplete. And he refuses to answer any more Q's. Do you think thats right? He went as far as to block me. What do you think?

I disagree, if he paid for a used nitrous kit, then he should have gotten a used nitrous kit, not an incomplete nitrous kit.

 

i agree with you man, thats bunk.

 

If i was buying something for $400 which comes with alot of little accesories, I would make sure to ask exactly what it comes with, and pics of it. Especially when its used to see the condition.

 

after i got burned i seriously only consider local sellers so i can pick up. unless they got a lot of vouches. i know it sucks but thats what things are comin too

Sorry to disagree with you BolivianFuego but you need to do your homework before buying things online! Ask about condition, ask for pictures, ask what pieces are included. If he made false claims thats a little different but what the seller conditions a good condition and what you do can be very very different. It's hard to say but I don't think you can do anything about this but try to contact the guy.

smslude (10:30 PM 7/13/2003): I dont know what you expect me to do, all i was selling was a nitrous kit, i sent the kit as soon as i got the money. He didnt ask what all was included. He says that i didnt include a nozzle which is total bullshit, hell i left the nozzle attached to the line. And as far as the brackets go i really am trying to get some from my friend, but i havent had any time to drive 3 hours to get them. If you need to terminate my account then do what you have to. I have always been a good memeber of H-T and always been willing to help people, but i dont believe he was scammed, i sold a product and it was delivered.

 

Well, in my defense, i was asking just really for the Nozzle adapter, which itself isn't a nozzle, but just a little plastic piece which should have been included, in this kit. I was expecting a full kit, not an incomplete one. When i bought this from him i was told it was a complete kit. It didn't include the brackets, which i really need if iwanted to install this, and the adapter which is used to plug into the intake. It came with a nozzle but no adapter. That on its own is like 20 dollars. The brackets around 50. So basically all im asking is for is some money in return, Since it seems that smslude doesn't want to waste his time driving 3 hours and his money on gas and shipping of the brackets then he should refund me the money and i will buy the missing pieces of the kit to complete it. He doesn't have to worry about a thing. And all this could be solved.
