The best of 3 dozen heads selected as virgin excellent condition. It has only had .002" off for resurfacing and 3 angle valve job. One of he finest older cores around.VTEC Honda heads are known for core shift in the ports, valve seat and core seam.
This head has near perfect zero core shift! Also it has never been touched or blended except in the oil return passages. The VTEC supply hole has been welded to prevent any leak on LS applications .
VTEC heads also suffer from cam journal scoring. It is common and somewhat acceptable. There is NO cam journal defects at all. Every cap is the same too.
