FS: Custom made inner trunk gate; Back Seat Back Support Substitute
Purpose of this custom made addon, was to allow me to fully extend my legs while
lying down. Lying directly on the folded seat caused damage to it.
I did not have to drill new holes into the car's metal frame/body, nor did I have to add a weld nut; it's a straight bolt on with 6mm diameter bolts.
The gate uses three 'spring loaded' hinges, meaning the door stays open fully when latch is lifted.
My car was involved in an accident, and unfortuntely had to be written off.
This explains the piece of wood snapped off. I have the wood on hand and can be 'wood glued' back if one wishes. Some of the aluminum angles were bent. One may be able to bend them back into place with a hammer and such. Hench I make no guarantee they will fit without some adjustment.
If you've never used a drill power tool, I would advise against buying this.
