Does Escrow.com really help with online fruad. I see some good deals on here and other places but am weary about purchasing them seeing as alot of people are scammed on an almost daily basis. I would like to buy an engine from someone in another state whom i have not met, would this be a good alternative to just paying them?

 

As long as you buy froma reputable person with references, you shouldnt have to worry about fraud.

 

My rule is, anything over $100 I use escrow service. If the person on Honda-tech is well known and has a lot of vouches than I don't mind dealing with him. Its the people with like under 50 posts who try and sell stuff for a lot of money worry me. I"ve used escrow several times ranging prices from $300-1500 and they all went smooth. Only thing is, paying for the service!
