You guys do understand if that if it was the real JDM ITR key blank is about 50.00 right.
So what he is doing to saving on Ebay fees by selling it at 17.95 . Because Ebay only charges the fee based on the 17.95 selling price the seller can save money.

To keep from lossing money on the sale he must charge higher shipping to cover the actual cost of the item and the actual shipping cost.

Have you not see people selling things with a 1.00 buy it now and 300.00 shipping?
Think about it, you can sell a 300.00 dollar transaction for just about 1.00 in ebay fees where it would of cost you about 8-10 dollars if you did it the otherway around.

You guys think everything is a scam. Please use your brain and think about what's happening.

Ive bought stuff before from James sen on ebay before. I can vouch for him that he's a good seller. I agree on Akhom....he does this to save money from ebay. He's not scamming anyone....If he took your money and never send the item then yes he is a scammer but if he just posting this item at a hight shipping price doesnt mean he's a scammer. You ***** are stupid especially Nathan Atwell for posting such a stupid post. Dont be calling anyone a scammer if they aint guilty at it. And if the shipping price is too high then dont buy it.....let ebay charge him. He's the seller...he has every right to set his price and shipping.....If you don't agree then don't purchase it.

NO no no... I saw this guy selling the key for $50 about a month ago and I WAS going to buy it but I thought I'd check around. At that time shipping was like $3.
I just checked it because its on my "items to watch" list and I saw that the price had been reduced. I was like "ya" i'm down for that price and then I saw shipping!!! I emailed the guy and told him what a scammer he was and how that was very bad business. The guy is in California, and he IS trying to scam people.
Just my thoughts

I don't care if the guy has vouches. Its like if you let your friend put your name as a reference for a job he's trying to get at your work place. He gets the job and totally f@#$s it up. It just makes you look bad because you said that he was worth it and he wasn't.

I'm not saying that this guy is going to rip some people off...I'm just saying that what has happened here is that he is trying to lure people in with a great buy now price and then make the rest of the money up in shipping charges. Now, will someone tell me how that is "good business." And besides, he's charging more the inline four charges for the same product.

so true, ebay is making a fortune off of us, they are charging an arm and a leg for "final value fee" and insertion fees, and picture fees, so we as sellers gotta find a way around it and gotta make as much as we can without being taxed by ebay.

I once saw a set of Rotas for sale for around $5. And shipping was like $400.

It doesnt make the seller a scammer, it means he doesnt want to pay those steep eBay fees.

on you, you ****, for making this thread, giving that eBayer a bad name, when all he's doing is saving a few bucks.

I believe you mean he is scamming ebay then!!!

Ebay has fees for reasons. It's a business, and you are reaching millions of people, so what if you have to pay some fees.... the fees are fairly reasonable...

you cant cheat the system but there are ways around the system. Yes the fees are fairly reasonable but If you have tons of items up for sale, you would have to cheat the system because I personally dont make much money. Most people here is crooked.....and if you wanna follow the rules then for you.

You know what...I don't think that its very necessery to be throwing around verbally abusive words like that. It doesn't show very much intelligence when some one can't convey their thoughts without insulting another.

The definition of a scammer is: "Someone who uses fraudulent business schemes."

For someone to be a scammer, they don't have do it to you, directly, but just the idea of taking advantage of someone by showing a price for a buy now and charging the balance of that item as shipping charges could be considered scamming another. I feel like I'm repeating my self.

Its not about the fees from ebay guys. I've been watching this item for awhile and all I'm saying is that, no one was biting on the original price, so he was trying weasel some people into buying with his buy now price and making the rest of the money up with shipping charges....i don't care if some one is trying to overt fees from ebay...thats fine... I hate bureaucracies anyway. Its just bad business to not inform the buyer immediatly when they click the page. Maybe something like "Please read completely before biding." He was not trying dance around the fees, he was trying to make money the shady way. Thats a scammer!!!

Its just bad business. Thats all I'm trying to say. Look at his damn feedbacks for f@#$s sake.

I think alot of good points have been made on this thread. So, lets move on because some of us are getting a little, too "involved" in this thread and its not healthy to express anger to people you might deal with in a business venture especially when we are all here to promote Honda and its following. I only brought this thread to life because of my feelings about the item and seller discussed. I was just looking out for fellow H-T members... I was not looking to start an insult forum.

Lets just move on and talk about something that really matters.
