d16z6 internals
One complete set of stock used rods/pistons from a d16z6. You get them, as-is, freshly pulled from the engine. Everything appears to be in good shape, and the engine they came from was in good condition as well. Start with an asking price of $40 for the set, but accepting any offers, buyer handles all shipping expenses.
Beefy ain't they.
I promise I will try to clean them up a bit before shipping out.

So you might be asking yourself, what good is a bunch of used d16z6 rods/pistons complete with all the bearings, piston rings, and wrist pin? Well, I'll tell you. Say you have a buddy who just swapped in a really neato b16/18 into his 98 Civic dx, and now he has this piece of crap engine he no longer wants. You stop by, ''hey, you going to use that pile of crap in the corner of your garage'', he responds ''hell no, I done bought me a B series'', you fire back casually, ''mind if I take it?''.
At this point, he begins laughing hysterically. You load the engine in your trunk, and as you close the door, you can still here him laughing.
Now, you get home and jump on H-T, IM your good buddy piscorpio, who happens to be selling some z6 internals, perfect for throwing into your block.
All that is left, is scrounging up a VTEC head, ex/si transmission, a junkyard turbo setup and let the fun begin. That, my friend, is why you need these parts.

Using that online compression calculator, and assuming everything on the d16a6 is stock, looks like about 8.1;1. A y8 headgasket bumps it to around 8.4 to 1. Probably not what you are looking for in a NA setup, but might be to your liking if planning to boost. Thanks for the interest.
Good parts need a good home. Block was said to have 60k miles on it when the parts were pulled from it. Everything was in good shape, and I am actually using the block they came from. Thanks for looking.
