i know this is kinda ot, but here goes....

i just received payment on my paypal acct, i just transferred it to my bank account today. is it safe to ship out the merchandise even though it is not on my bank account yet?

i just don't want o be scammed plus i don't want the buyer to wait any longer than necessary.

thanks for the help.

once its in your paypal acct. its yours, the bank transfer process is just a delay in their services to you( expected). Although with echecks for instance you have to wait until paypal sends you a fund verification(confirmation) before you know the funds are good...

lol
i say wait for a month ! it happen to me twice ! first time when i got the money in my paypal i send the buyer email for some PC games online account, next day got a email from paypal "the money was reversed" paypal told me someone hack into someone else's account so they had to reverse the money. lucky i the game account was there still so i just change the password.

second sold something here for about 700US and the guy paypaled me, and i TRANSFER to my bank already, and i had some trouble ship the item ! was delayed for about a week ! and a week after i shipped out and email the buyer his tracking No., and got a email for paypal the buyer reverse the money. so i end up with -700 in my paypal, i was like what the fukkkk so i email the guy he told me as soon as he got the item he will cancel the reverse. lucky again he did pay me at the end.

so the point here is i dont trust paypal, the payer has one month time to cancel the payment ! even if it's in ur bank account ! they can just put you in debt. so now i only take money order.

it only takes like 3 days to cross to your account. If he made a complaint, paypal would only warn you at first and after like 2 weeks they try and freeze your acount. I know cause a guy that bought 2 ac compressors from me gave me his po address and so i had to send it uspo and it took forever to get to him. He made a complaint in the mean time and after like 2 weeks Paypal froze the account even though he never siad more. I found out that he did get it and everything was cool but shitty *** paypal wants a tracking number even though i cant provide one. This is the second time I have had a major run in with them but no prob, theres no money for them to hold this time. LOL

that's not true, when the fund is being transfered, paypal can still abort it, which is why it takes 3~4 to do a simple transfer.

Think about it, how long does it take for me to transfer 1000$ from my bank to your bank? less than a day.

I know this from personal experience. Paypal can intercept your fund during its transfer and put your account on hold at any time. I have 1700$ frozen in one of my paypal account right now.

I recieved $520.00 in my Paypal account, and I transfered it into the Bank Account. Waited for it to clear and when it did, I sent out the package.

The next day, I get an email from Paypal saying, the buyer used Fraudulent Funds and they have to get the money back.

So they left me a negative balance of $520.00 in my account. I have 120 days to pay them back, or else they'll shut down my account... I'm not sure if they'll go into the bank account and retrieve the money after the 120 day period.

I say.... **** PAYPAL!

no, that may not be completely true,

if you follow the seller's safely guideline, paypal will be on your side

if you send it to VERIFIED address with TRACKABLE carrier then you can fight it
