Whats you # ?
#117
i couldn't get 17, so i took 117. it was a number i had in baseball, but more importantly, my roommate died in an auto accident 1.5 years ago on the 17th. that's what the CKIII is for below my name on the door as well.

170
7 was taken, 77 was taken, I was told 70 was available so I took it but by the time they started posting results they were listing me as 170 because 70 was already taken after all.

I chose 44 because when I did research on my car's history from the Honda Michelin Challenge Series, I found photos of it with the #44. Ironically, I met the guy who campaigned the car back in 1988 and he told me that the #44 was not my car, but an identically painted sister car. It turns out my car was #88. Although that chassis has gone to racecar heaven over the winter, I am contemplating #88 for the new car this year.

The answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything, as given by the supercomputer Deep Thought to a group of mice in Douglas Adams's comic science fiction series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, is "42". According to the Guide, mice are 3-dimensional profiles of a pan-dimensional, hyper-intelligent race of beings. They built Deep Thought, the second greatest computer of all time and space, to tell them the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything. After seven and a half million years the computer divulges the answer: 42.
"Forty-two!" yelled Loonquawl. "Is that all you've got to show for seven and a half million years' work?"
"I checked it very thoroughly," said the computer, "and that quite definitely is the answer. I think the problem, to be quite honest with you, is that you've never actually known what the question is."

#11. cause it is really easy to make with black electrical tape! seriously! whenever i fill out a race entry form, its always:
#11, then #7, then #17
all easy to make with electrical tape.
and #1 is just a bad karma feel for me (even though it is the easies to put on the car). putting #1 on your car seems to me to be a bad idea; just tempting the gods for something bad to happen?

#33. Goes way back to the late 80's when I was a huge baseball fan. My favorite player was Kevin Seitzer of the Kansas City Royals, #33. I've used 33 ever since then.

Favorite # is 2 - I was #2 in Baseball, #72 in Football and the chassis is a '92, and when registering for my first NT I didn't want to be at the front of the run group... so #92 it was and it stuck....

#107 with Cal Club
That was the first 3-digit number available. I wanted a 2-digit number, but they were all taken.
#170 with SDR
I wanted #107 so I can have the same number for both regions. Unfortunately, it was taken. So I asked for any number with 1, 0, and 7 in it.

I was a little chunky when I was young and all the soccer uniforms that we big were 16 and above. So I always wore a 19 even when I slimmed down I order my uniform special so that I could have a 19 and not be swimming in it. 19 has been my # through all of life, for the reason of being fat at one point in life

8 is usually always taken, and since it's always been my number since pee-wee hockey days, I just tripled it....and have yet to have a problem when competing outside of my "normal" venues

#417 -- 4/17/90 was the date of my last chemotherapy treatment. 4/17/03 was the date of my first event (or it would have been had we not gotten an ice storm that morning!).
#44. Has been my number since before I can remember. Was considering changing when I bought the car, but when the seller handed me the keys and the tag on it said "ITC #44", I new it was meant to stay that number.
