Default Titanium exhaust components?

I'm searching for a reputable company which makes titanium exhaust components for next year's racing season. I know Tanabe just came out with one, do you know of any others?

Please let me know.
Thanks!
Mike

Allow this response-you really do not need this sort of weight saving unless you have a serious track car. There are companies that can fabricate parts in Titanium and a few are mentioned in the circle track magazines. Keep in mind that this material is not only costly but requires expensive fabriation techniques. This is not intended as a flame-just something to think about.

With that said-go for it. Happy holidays

hi.

the company that sponsors me exhaust-wise makes a header in TI.

i race with their header made in stainless steel (4 into 1 with 2.5" collector). I chose not to go with the TI mainly because I tend to scrape/bend/smash the headers regularly! plus, my car is fat (not phat!) and there are lots of other places to shave some weight....

if i ever get down to the point where i am looking for every last ounce, i might consider the TI header....

if you are interested, email me and I will put you in touch with KOS, the company I speak of...

good luck.

just because we are autocrossers doesn't mean the name of the game isn't weight

mike, have you tried looking at JIC products? I know they make ti exhausts for 240's and such.

My car is fat (not phat) too But with the way the STS rules are written there is no real other way of shedding pounds except for the seats and A/C. So I'm trying to find the next logical way

And since I have to replace my exhaust and header (due to rust) I thought I would look into TI components.

I have an Amuse titanium exhaust.

Quality is nice and the exhaust is light enough to beat people with. So I hear.

This Amuse exhaust was for my S2000... though if I were beating somebody, I'd want something cheaper and heavier, like a mild steel Pacesetter header...
