Post up your results and pics! I was lucky to get some seat time in by Buddy's RSX. First time out and we got 3rd in FWD Street class! Nice to see everyone Tony Jackson, FF squad, Brian Gillespie, Andy Hope. Thanks to Jose, Sportcar Motion, Garage Spec, Gearspeed and everyone who helped us. It was a fun event! Thanks to Global Time Attack and Source Interlink as well.

i was about 20 minutes away from packing up the race car and heading out and rolling the the west coast show cars!!!

 

 

You should have... it's interesting to see what W2W drivers can do in a time attack format.
Most time attack cars put good times down because the ruleset isn't very restrictive... I'm super curious how those time attack drivers do in a W2W environment with a restrictive ruleset (ie. Honda Challenge or IT cars).

 

Congrats on the 3rd place finish. I was hoping to give you a run for 3rd (I was in the Hasport Street FF car), but my 4th gear let go on the out lap of the second session.

 

Thanks! Sucks about your tranny. Yea the RSX was not bad its first day out but easy prey. I was happy to be 3 seconds off the win with what we had,once the car gets sorted 2 min should be reasonable.

So cal has alot of guys that do both, including myself, and the competition level is high on both sides. I've done Honda Challenge and HFF, etc and each event has great competition. Some very good drivers do not venture out to other series. It is hard to keep up with the pace of growth in competitiveness I am noticing around here as I go to each event. People are getting faster and faster and its fun to see.

 

Congrats again on getting 3rd in the Street FWD class, Justin! Looking forward to seeing what else you can squeeze out of the RSX.

I had such a great time at SLB/GTA seeing all of our friends out there. I placed 4th in the Limited FWD class and knew I'd be up agaisnt some really fast cars. My best lap was a 2:00.4 which I'm very pleased with.

All i was able to get was a 2:04.2
i didn't have a camera in my car at all. My Sunroof plug broke out just after riverside. flew straight up in the ait and scared the crap out of me!

i still havent seen much coverage of this event. normally its all over the web within a few days.

 

Time to seal off that sunroof for good!

 

i still have the OEM sunroof. i really want to build a mold from it make a composite plug that would bolt into the OEM mounting points.

i'm not against a complete roof skin. Its just a lot of work and i dont have much time.
