Default Spectating at a Hyperfest ECHC event?

Hey guys, I'd love to go see an ECHC event, but I was really kinda disappointed that LMS is going to be a Hyperfest event as I'd rather not deal with crowds and traffic and "Stunnaz" or whatever. (I'm happy ECHC is getting the attention.. I'm just lazy and don't want to deal with the trouble..)

So, those of you who specated for the last Hyperfest, how was it? Anybody planning on meeting someplace? Any corner working or whatever still need to be done that could use a volunteer (as long as I still get to see the races)?

Sorry that this is sorta last minute.. I had decided I just wouldn't go, but now I'm having second thoughts since Lowe's is probably the closest event for me to get to, and I think I may even have at least part of that weekend relatively free..

So how much of a pain/expense/theft risk is attending a Hyperfest?

VIR would be closer for you, no? Our final points race of the year will be held there 10/12-10/13

No worries at all. A little extra security, more people. I didn't hear about a single problem.
Well, some banner got stolen from the track, as well as tire walls being moved, but I never heard about any damage to cars that were there (i.e. vandals or theft).

YMMV

November SP is not a Honda-Challenge race.

Charlotte is your friend... lots of stuff to do and the track is fery wide open.
You can see all of the track.
The track is very easy to get to.
Expense = http://www.hyper-fest.com
Theft = a thief better hope that he is not caught... the Fla. we-todds will set them on fire after kicking the living crap out of them.

I suggest you attend. Bring lots of film... and enjoy the stay.

NASA loves volunteers!! If you would like to help out at Lowe's for Hyperfest, e-mail me at lcobetto@comcast.net. We can put you in a spot where you can watch the races and help (grid...timing/scoring....helping with flagging, etc.) E-mail me by Monday if possible. Hope to see you there!
And, I don't think traffic will be a problem as most of the people don't all come at once. We found that to be true at Summit. I think we will have more spectators at Lowes because of the fact that it is a major metropolitan area as opposed to Summit Point, but we will have the security, parking attendants, and gate people that we need.

Yeah, Charlotte will not be that bad......I was happy to hear that it was in High Metro area to help get fans to the race. This will only help the drivers and NASA continue the ECHC events.....Don't forget this is a good way to show RICE and Stunnas what real racing is! Just .02$

I hope none of these people were on the track the next day with hangovers.
You mean like most of the ECHC? LOL...

Argh! Last night I found out that I have help out with a bachelor party preparation that weekend (I'm in the wedding party, I can't back out!)...

I have to say that the ECHC organizers have horrible skills planning events so that I can attend them!

I wonder how long until next year's schedule will come out.. this may sound stupid, but I _really_ want to attend and help out at an event! (and meet some of you guys too.. )
