Default She's almost ready

Bodyshop pulled the frame and welded on the core support. We'll double check hood fitment and alignment next week.

On schedule, so far, for next month's NASA event @ SP.

Can't wait to see what mix of colours you're going to end up with...'cause we know you don't paint anything.
That is 100% not true. He painted his wing and mirrors.

better watch out, Warren.

me and my mighty LS powered machine plan on being at the Point in November with NASA.

It should be cold enough not to overheat by then

I hope

We can race in PS2? I didn't know that, although I was planning to come to that event anyway. Can someone confirm this so I know how much more debt I'll accumulate before the event? Thanks

Good to hear, Warren

BTW - in case anyone is curious. One of my front frame rails was out by 6-7 inches. The first time it was bent, it was pretty minor, like 2 inches, but the suspension took a few more knocks.

The great thing about Hondas is that they are easy to pull back to spec. Might have a few indentions in the frame rail, but nothing serious.

The safety of a frame bent several times would worry me. As you said: 2 inches first time, 7 inches this time... I wonder how much more bending it can take and would rather not find out.

The reason why it bent so much this time is the angle that Tom and I got together at. I doubt new frame rails would have bent significantly less. It's also up past the engine, which is all crush zone, and is supposed to bend more easily than anything else.

This is why we should put in the best safety equipment that we can afford.

it should be cold down there in Nov. she'll hold together, and along with my mad nonvtec skillz I should be able to keep some of the AI fellers in sight....

random thought: i bet if Fowler showed with his H2 Prelude he could run with the big AI-X dogs.....
