Default roll bar install question....

was wondering...when you guys installed your roll bar, did you...
use a metal plate on the under side of the chassis to sandwich the chassis inbetween...
or just use some washers....thanks in advance for the feedback...

The bar should have shipped with metal plates. And you absolutely must use plates, with washers (locking) and a nut and a nylock nut.

Autopower can send them to you, or a race fab shop can make them for you in probably an hour if you provide the dimensions or a template.

A decent shop should be able to fishmouth a tube & weld it into the rollbar that you have.

They should also be able to set you up with a bolt in one too.
