Replace Hub?

Default Replace Hub?
I was replacing the wheel bearing and the inner race got stuck. Grinded the race off, but i did gouged the hub shaft maybe 1/8" deep. How bad is this? Assuming I should just replace the hub huh?

put that one in the recycle bin and get another.;

I subscribe the "never re-use the hub, ever" theory.

The bearing and hub are always a "set" in my mind.

Always replace hubs with bearings.

It's just one of the small preventative maintenance things to do on a race car.
