A quick note of thanks
Guys as usual we had a blast racing with NASA and Honda Challenge. Really is the most fun I ever have racing. My thoughts are with Chad (for his engines) and I hope Phil is ok and that he can get his car back together soon.
Robert Williams demonstrated some incredible Talent taking it to me side by side from 1 to 3. considering how little he has done to that car Im impressed. and Bookler is such a nice guy and left plenty of room for me to nip up inside! And way to go Todd Reid and Peter C for some nice driving. I watched their whole race.
Vids will be up on the site soon!
See you all soon!

It warms my heart to hear you say that Alex, and it's awesome to have you out there with us.
And thanks to you Alex, for being perpetually helpful. For those of you who don't know, here's a guy, *in my class*, who...
- basically aligned my car for me
- offered a replacement axle when mine died
- wanted me to go out so he could follow me around the track for a while, then have me follow him, so he could help me find some time.
See you at LMS

Alex, YOU kickass, from letting me borrow your scales/lift and camber guage, to letting me drink some 944 beer, your an awesome asset to the series, and its an honor to race w/ you..
it was a bad weekend for christina as she decided to have several parts break. after my sessions on saturday, i wanted to bleed the brakes because they felt spongy. however in the process of pulling off the wheels, i noticed that the drivers side front cv boot was torn and throwing grease everywhere, and the passenger side inner boot had already thrown grease everywhere.
i go to a couple of auto parts stores in bustling danville va but no one's got any axles. i show up sunday and start asking around.
wow! so many people were willing to help. the ECHC guys are amazingly nice. phil philips gave me a right axle, and warren **** gave me a left axle. king rat also gave me what i thought was a left axle til we pulled the old axle off. though he gave me the wrong side, i am still amazed at how he was willing to help. he did give me advice and some info on pullin the old crap off, and corey also let me borrow a ball joint seperator. i almost made it back out on track for my last session on sunday, but just couldnt do it. christina would really be hurtin though if it were for everyone that helped me out.
oh yeah, RJ and elgorey really helped out with removal/installation/bleeding of brakes (though its still soft). the racing community in general kicks ***! thanks for everyone's help!

Well, you did help me with the springs, and taught me that cool (faster) way to change the rear brake pads...
I'm always glad to help a friend.

Doesnt matter if your caliper is siezed....
Doesnt matter if your caliper is siezed....
instructions for Karl to change his rear brake pads...
1) break the master cylinder
2) loosten lugs, making sure to strip at least one stud
3) crack hub
4) go to buy new hub, but other car won't start
5) call to get new hub shipped, but "3" button on phone won't work
6) give up, and add no rear brakes to "busted ****" list

LOL! I used to remove the entire caliper to change the pads, he just showed me how to do it by removing the two 12mm bolts instead.... I'm sure it's how everybody else does it, I was just taking a stupider approach.
