Progressive Shift Light
I've seen them on indy and formula one cars.
The only aftermarket one available that i have found is made in Australia and is $171. It's made by Ecliptech and is called the Shift I.

Does anyone know if there any other different ones?

I remember somebody posting about this before, but it's been awhile. Read through these, they should be helpful (although a little dated).

Yeah, probably the best answer.
otherwise, last time I was looking for one, Spa made one. You could look them up.

i still like the idea of a audible shift indicator better. it has a signal output you can use to connect to the dash lights or your own shift light too.

A - The standard Shift Beeper will work on any 4, 6, 8, or 10-cylinder engine that has a digital tachometer signal. Generally any car with electronic fuel injection and an ECM or ECU will provide a digital tach signal, so that covers a lot of cars. The Shift Beeper should NOT be used on older cars with distributor/points/coil type ignition systems, as it could damage the Shift Beeper module. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I had a SPA one in the H1 car last year....honestly I can say that I didn't really notice the pretty colors before the red showed up. Needless to say I took it out for a regular one.

Most if not all of the early Mazda rotary cars had those from the factory. The RX-2's was awful sounding. Really really awful...
