Default Offset Bushings?

Anyone know where I can get a set of Offset Bushings for an ITR? Fortunately I have a good friend that has offered to make a set for me, but I wouldn't want to put him through the trouble unless absolutely necessary...(thanks Jeff

I had mine custom made out of delrin. Cost me a couple of pints of Guiness.
Always helps to have a buddy whos a machinist.

Hey! I thought we couldn't use Delrin in the suspension components on this car. I thought it would bind. How much camber are you getting from the front now? I've already got -1.2 in the rear, but only -1.5 up front. I'd like to see -2 to -2.5. Stupid SCCA rules I wish we could run that new Skunk kit up front, and the Mugen kit in the rear.

For IT rules, believe you can use any type of bushing material. Isn't Delrin the harder than poly...I thought it was, but I could be wrong?

I believe I have about the same as you do (-1.3ish in rear, and -1.5ish in front). Wish I could get about -3 degrees (and be legal)...that's all

Bushings are free in IT and Street Prepared (and in Honda Challenge )

The delrin works fine. I have 2.3 negative left front and 2.2 negative right front. That seems to be about perfect for the Hoosiers. Temps look great across the face (except on concrete... the temps are just plain nuts and make no sense at all).

Please excuse my ignorance, but what and where exactly are offset bushings used [for]?

You can use offset bushings to pull in the mounting points for the upper control arm. Thus adding negative camber.

I asked Colletti about using Delrin, and he said they tried it. They would bind and shear the bolts. Oops!

Then again, we're not running insano spring rates. Are you using Delrin for all the bushings, or just the inner upper control arms?

Just the upper control arms.
No problems in 2 years.
