Default Need some advice

Currently i am 2nd in pts in the STS class in my region. I keep finishing 2nd place to this neon. I am w/ in .5->.7 secs of him every event. One event i had him beat by .4 secs, but i hit the very last cone on the course..doh! My question is which setup would help me the most.

15x6.5 rims w/ some 205/50/15
or
16x7 rims w/ 225/45/16 (will this even fit on an Accord?)

o yeah, my current setup is...
stock rims 205/55/15s
AEM CAI
coilovers (sleeve type)
kyb agxs
custom front/rear strut bars
Susp Tech rear swaybar is on order (i've been waiting 6months for it! )

I really think the rear swaybar will be enough to pick up your times when it arrives I waited 3 months for my ST bars last year. What kind of tires do you run right now?

yeah, im hoping the swaybar will help, its been on back order from ST for 6months now!

Think the 5mm bigger rear swaybar will be enough to make up the difference?

Find some prelude wheels, 94-96 (they are lighter than 92-93 wheels), and get some AVS intermediate tires, 225/50/15, they should fit fine if your not slamed to the ground.. That should give you an edge..

The prelude wheels are 15x6.5 and fit the 225's nicely.. I picked up a set for 200$ and they weigh 15lbs.. I know where 2 more sit if you want them..

I can't quote you torsional rigidity or the like but going from a 16mm to 19mm sway on my car represents a 133% increase (someone check my math cause I am just going on memory). Obviously there are other factors at play such as being hollow, materials, etc . . . but in short 5mm should make a very large difference IMO.

are 94-96 lude wheels lighter than 94-95 Accord EX wheels?

my car is lowered ~1" so i won't need a spacer to run 225s in the rear?

They may not be lighter, but they are a 1/2 in wider so you can run 225s without a problem.. I don't know about the accord rear, i have never tried them on the rear of an accord.. I can bring my friends over and check it out, i don't think you will have a problem though with a mild 1" drop.. Although, that control arm on the accord is awlful close to the stock tire already on the accord now that i think about it..
